The best pho in Southampton, no exaggeration. The spicy bun hue is delicious! But remember to bring cash.

Enjoyed our visit to Hanoi Bistro, really great food, with lovely fresh ingredients. It has a chilled atmosphere. Wonderful staff and the music playing was wonderful too. Will definitely visit again soon.

Great Vietnamese style food, good portions, high quality restaurant type food not just street food. Ribs were amazing as were the Bao buns. Ordered inside to take away but then decided to sit in as the resteraunt was street cafe style but REALLY new, smart and clean looking, even the toilets, very impressed. Will definitely be ordering via uber eats next time i want a takaway. YUM!

Truly amazing food! Our first time here and it did not disappoint at all! Happy to have a fantastic pho place in the area. Our starters were summer rolls and fried tofu. For our mains we had spicy king prawn bun hue and special bun hue. The flavours and spices were spot on. Service is also very nice and professional. Place is lovely and clean. We will absolutely be back! <3

Paid £4 extra for large pho but it’s a bowl of pasta with no sauce, really rude and aggressive when I pointed this out, couldn’t be bothered to argue. Go elsewhere it’s a rip off

Went to Hanoi Bistro twice and it was an incredibly experience. Both times the food was fresh, high quality and fairly priced. The food here reminds me of the food I ate in Hanoi, Vietnam and is the only place I have found that comes close to replicating the tastes. The pho is wonderful with a rich and flavorful broth it made us want more, I specifically ordered the sweet and sour pho which was perfect. I highly recommend people go to this hidden gem.

Has the beef pho. The soup wasn’t hot enough so when beef was put inside the soup temperature was lowered. If they put in a bigger bowl with more soup, the temperature could be maintained.

So glad that a Vietnamese place finally opened up in Southampton. The beef pho was decent with soft and tender slices of beef. The large portion is really big so you might want the regular size if you’re ordering sides. I wasn’t a fan of the banh mi – it was in a French baguette rather than a traditional bun, but the filling was quite good so I’d get it again if they swap out the bread. The spicy bun hue didn’t have depth of flavour, it was mainly just spice so I’d personally stick to the pho. All in all, a nice place to get some comforting pho and I’ll be going again soon.

Fantastic food, informal atmosphere and very clean.

My party of three dropped in for supper after a day of fossil hunting.

The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful (thank you for protecting my wife’s phone!)

Food was delicious and (for us) something different. Portions generous.

We will most certainly be back.

Underrated restaurant. It’s quite empty so do come here if you get the chance. The owner is super friendly and his food packs a lot of flavour. For a good price, I got some piping hot pho, excellent broth and fresh ingredients. I also definitely recommend having a Banh mi as well, its so worth it I would get it again as well. The bread is super crispy and they give you more than enough filling to keep you addicted. Sometimes if you pay enough, you can get complimentary items on the side, in this case I got some bubble tea which is exactly what I would get if I went to a real bubble tea store!
