One of the greatest breakfasts on the go, one of the best in town. Old school greasy spoon serving up those American diner favorites, great eggs and potatoes, tasty French toast cinnamon goodness, Giant pancake. Delicious egg&cheese sandwiches on fresh roll, made with care. And don’t forget the tasty burgers and hot dogs. Steamed options too, on some of their items. Steamed burgers, yes. Sara J’s is hands down the BEST in CT. The owner is so pleasant and hardworking, offers prompt service ALWAYS, and greets with a warm welcoming smile. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious, affordable and consistently well made. She is accommodating when we ask for any toppings, and always does so with a smile and laugh that you can hear beaming through the phone. We adore her! Everything is cooked to order and always fresh. The cakes Sara makes are incredible. All around worth the stop if you are ever in the area, even worth the drive if you are not! We absolutely LOVE Sara J’s and look forward to her food anytime we have the chance!

We stopped to grab some food for lunch on a long road trip. The location was super convenient and our chef/server was so kind. She brought the food out to our car once it was ready and slipped in a free (and delicious!) sweet treat to make up for a very minor inconvenience with one of our orders.

We stopped off of Route 15 in Wallingford CT, looking for a place to get some food to go. We looked online and chose Sara J’s. We were quite glad we did. We each ordered a tuna melt which was delicious. Service was great, packaged to go was great. Staff were terrific and sandwiches were fabulous.

My husband and I were in a car accident near Sarah J’s. These lovely people took it upon themselves to feed us and help us fix our car and wanted nothing in return. They were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. Not only were they kind and generous, but the food was excellent and Sarah gave us a couple of beautiful cupcakes for the road! Turns out she’s an amazingly talented artist! If you want to support a local business, this is the one! They are kind, generous, and incredibly talented and deserve your business!

I love this place and come here every time I’m in town! Such wonderful, kind service and best cupcakes/dessert ever! I don’t even like hot dogs and I can always go for one when I go there! I now live down south (for about 14 years), so I don’t get to go as often as I’d like… BUT I haven’t found any cupcakes/dessert better !
