We stopped in for lunch today. Decided to try the “Poppy” Pork Sandwich Special for 6$ and it was delicious. The bun was crispy and soft, pork was savory and tender. Our fries were very good and cooked nicely. Everything was hot. The Sweet Sauce was very good too. Big cups for the drinks was a plus. Everyone was friendly when we walked inside and during our lunch time. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and was clean. Will be back for lunch!

The bbq pork sandwich are to die for!! The owner hand pulls the pork butt everyday and you don’t get the thought pieces! Her chili slaw dogs are the best in north east Georgia! This is hand down one of my favorite BBQ places around. I eat here a few time a week and the ladies that work here always know what I’m going to get! Great service, great people and a wonderful atmosphere!

Hi, so here is my opinion and best advice. Take your money else where and find a better place to eat with staff that is genuinely caring. The owner is a horrible person to all of his staff and doesn’t believe in paying his employees, refuses to at that. This man is dishonest, crude, and is only in it for himself. He definitely isn’t someone you would want in your community. I have never in my life met such a careless old man. Don’t waste your time guys. Oh and one more thing any juices or milks ordered for kids is all out of date he refuses to throw them out says they are still good. Thanks.

My second time here, not so good. The manager (owner) was extremely rude to the waitress who was trying to help me. It was lunch time and the place was empty, what I wanted, which was a slaw dog, she was asking him about and he was extremely disrespectful and rude to her, I would of quit on the spot but she was very professional and nice, I decided to go elsewhere, because of him. I’d say the new owner is costing himself business because of his attitude. While I was there he kept hanging up on someone who had a complaint about food or something, he would see the number and hang up. I feel sorry for the people who are working for him. I’ll not be going back

They had just opened for the day so they seemed busy getting ready. This didn’t seem to slow those ladies down a bit. The food come out and we hit the road. Once home my wife accidentally shuffled the plates sideways. The slaw and roll tasted like bbq and it was still all great to eat. Yum.

Sadly disappointed. Pulled pork was NOT smoked and chunks of fat in it. Sides tasted like reheated Stoufer sides. Mashed potatoes were watery and tasteless. Stewed apples were loaded with gooey sugar (just like Stoufer’s). Waitress was decent but did not bother to ask if our food was ok and why it was mostly untouched. Pork was ok but as noted above fatty and lacking flavor. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This place is one of the best things to happen to Cornelia. We needed a place that serves breakfast all day. Breakfast is my favorite meal. I will be back until I have tried EVERYTHING on the menu. Hats off to the chef! Ladies out front are so sweet and doing an amazing job!

Youre giving your business to someone who is completely undeserving. The owner is so unprofessional. My sister worked there for literally ONE day because he was so bad. My sister has been a server for nearly 15 years for Huddle house and she left on the first day at the BBQ bc of how it was ran. Now he refuses to pay her the $46 he owes her and was so nasty to her when she came to get her money. He isn’t kind. He isn’t one of ours who truly who has passion for our community. Take yourself somewhere better. Where your meal will taste great and be served by genuine people.

Fed three huge teenage boys for under $100…and they needed take home boxes!!! Sampled some of all their meats…sausage,pulled pork and chicken,and brisket…all perfect. Can’t wait to try their ribs. Ask for Katrina…perfect waitress
