Some of the best things in life are worth waiting for. I had to wait a while for the burrito I ordered at Lucy’s, but let me tell you, it was one of the best burritos I have ever had. If you ever pass through Madras, I would recommend stopping by for a taste sensation.

I’ve given this place multiple chances but I have never been impressed with the food or service here. Also a big language barrier the last time I went ordering chips and salsa I ended up paying almost 15 dollars for two orders of chips one with salsa and more chips with guacamole when I just wanted one order and to add a side of guacamole. When you go inside to eat the chips and salsa are for free which is kind of irritating but…. anyways yeah not going here again I’m sure others have had better experiences here but I’ve gone 5 times and the last will be the last.

I bring my clients here and they have disabilities so sometimes a bit over the top. Will say If they didn’t serve chips I probably would stick with La pasada only because they are always so upbeat and nice never make me feel out of place. When the guy in the back is out and about he is always so nice though greets me asking how everything is . When he’s not it feels like I m not really wanted as a customer.

I will have to say that this location in Madras Oregon is as good as the location in Bend Oregon I would assume it is the same owner? Overall my experience at this restaurant was very good. The restaurant was clean the employees were groomed and didn’t look dirty as some places around employee some are pretty dirty looking. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. One thing I would like to recommend to the restaurant when I walk through the door you stalk all your beverages in the dining area. I would recommend moving those to a more secure location as somebody could just walk away with the cases that you have stored there just a suggestion.

My wife and I tried Lucy’s tonight for the first time. She was really excited to go there after working a 12 hour day. When we walked in, it felt like it was 110° in there either their air-conditioning is broke or turned off and they had the doors open! I ordered three Ground beef tacos with beans and rice as a side. My wife ordered the ground beef nachos. This is just my opinion the food was horrible!! It tasted like they boiled the hamburger. It was tasteless and what taste it did have was gross.!! My wife and I could barely even eat a quarter of it. The whole time we’re trying to eat there’s 20 flies flying around landing on our food. It was absolutely disgusting. I have seen good reviews about this place and I’m just one person, but it was absolutely horrible!! My wife was so disappointed we paid $41 and couldn’t even eat the food. And again it felt like it was 110° with flies everywhere. Also we had to clean our own table. Every table had food all over it. We will never go back. It’s sad. I felt really bad for my wife. We left their feeling really disappointed.!!

Great salsa bar, especially if dining in (caramelized onions!). Soft tacos are big… Loved the Trippas and Adobadas. Carnitas was good but was not a fan of the crispy, shredded beef taco.

The 5 stars i gave Lucy’s was based on the food. It is good. This last week I pulled into the drive through behind other cars, I waited about 10 minutes thinking the had a big order. They pulled forward going around the corner. I pulled up to order my food, I didn’t hear anything so I waited understanding they were filling that large order. After 10 minutes still no contact, I pulled up and nobody was at the window.
I parked and walked in to see what was going on. 2 employees were sitting in the dinning area, behind the counter the cooks and the counter girl were standing around. When they saw me they all smiled while speak Spanish. The girl laughed amd said, “oops, my bad ” while the rest of the employees laughed.
I won’t be going back.
