Stopped by Bodega Deli at The Crates and had an awesome experience. My girlfriend went with their #9 — the chopped sub loaded with turkey, ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, banana peppers, and mayo. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — every bite hit just right.
I had their #2 — the Cuban sandwich along with an order of crispy fries, and it did not disappoint. The Cuban was delicious, packed with flavor, and had that perfect press and just the right crunch.
The deli has a great family-run vibe — warm, welcoming, and you can tell they care about their food and their customers. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere make it a spot worth returning to. Definitely a local gem

My wife and I heard about this new spot at Krates and ended up taking my sister for a little birthday lunch. The vibes, customer service, and turn around time on the food was on point. We all order the chopped cheese which was a 10/10!!! I recommended coming to this spot. Definitely coming back to try to chopped sub! Def gain new loyal customer.

Craving a satisfying Cuban sandwich, I was really let down by what I got. Just one lonely slice of ham and a meager bit of pork – not the hearty filling I was hoping for at all. Since I had already taken it to go, I didn’t realize how skimpy it was until I got home, otherwise I would have returned it. It certainly wasn’t worth the money. Interestingly, the Italian sub my companion ordered was absolutely packed with ingredients.

Chopped sandwich was amazing and huge! Chicken noodle soup came with no noodles… my 5 year old was not happy. Wait time for 1 sandwich and 1 soup was 30 minutes on a Tuesday at 1pm with 2 people ahead of me. I’d come back for the sandwich, but only when not on a time constraint.

Juan was great. Acknowledged me as soon as I came in. I ordered a chopped cheese and he recommended the lemonade,they had different flavors i opted for the passion fruit which was delicious and paired well with my sandwich. He brought my order out to me and even joined in on small talk regarding the super bowl. Definitely recommended. Also shout out to his coworker Leon I think (sorry if this name is wrong)

Delicious! Got to try a chopped cheese for the first time and loved it! Will get it again for sure but the Cuban… was amazing. I’ve had so many Cubans in Tampa, and this one goes in the top 5. Its simple and classic. Perfect flavor with the mayo and mustard. I do have to say a bottle of water for $3.98 is crazy though. Id fix that part, but other than that great spot.

Could not believe how skimpy the cuban sandwhich was with 1 piece of ham and sprinkles of pork served on big cuban bread. including a big pickle, as the guy smiled and stated 14.50 was my total for what i should have asked him has he lost his mind for charging that amount for serving more bread and a big pickle. how dare you. Improvement is needed for the cuban sandwhich.
