I don’t normally promote restaurants but I have found one dear to my heart. It caters to us gluten free folk. Sweet Ed’s Diner is awesome! Great prices, service and atmosphere. It’s in Glade Springs if you’re wanting to try something new. Huge hamburgers, more fries than you can handle and tasty desserts. The owner came out to introduce himself and made sure we enjoyed our food and time there. Highly recommended! We had the fried chicken sandwich, Megan burgers and Philly cheesesteak.

Stopped at Sweet Ed’s for lunch on my way to Gatlinburg. I love finding quaint little diners. And this was a wonderful choice. It is super cute with its Elvis theme and the food and service was awesome. Would definitely stop again. Has a great choice of sandwiches and daily specials that are home cooked. A great choice for about a 5 minute detour off 81.

Love this place. Has it all. Great food, fresh, well prepared to order, good prices, good service. Been several times now, always good. Not fast food and takes a while when they’re busy, but worth the wait. So glad this is available. Daily specials were good twice; corn bread, beans, and slaw are a favorite. Desserts, yum. Thanks!

Sweet Ed’s Hot Dogs, Holy Cow!! This is the kind of place that takes me back to being a kid in a small town eating at a diner with my grandparents. The entire family works there serving up homemade homecooking and it is usually packed lunch through dinner, and for good reason! They’ve put a ton of thought into the small things with their cuisine that so many others miss on. One in particular, the hot dog and hamburger buns. Their bun is soft and buttery and holds this massive creation together so well that it held up when reheated the next day and tasted just as good as the day before! We’ve sampled several things from the menu and everything has been great! Best Tater Tots on the planet! And they have a GIANT Baker Potato with chili and cheese that is out of this world! Its easy to love your food when so much love goes into preparing it and thats the approach with Everything at Sweet Ed’s! And it warms the heart to see Eddie and his wife, kids and mother all working together and checking in on how your meal is treating you. The Elvis decor is a nice touch as well! Eat at Sweet Ed’s and thank me later!

Great little town diner!
We all had different dinners. The special was great, the salad was large and fresh, the sloppy chicken dinner was a great combination of flavors, and fried green tomatoes was a wonderful starter. The butter pecan cake melted in your mouth!The serves was quick and friendly.

Our server was very sweet. she did a great job. The food was not great though. The burger was 6/10, the bacon was crispy and very good, fries were pretty good. The hamburger steak was 8/10, the baked potato was inedible. it was hard and obviously old. it looked amazing all loaded up but unfortunately I was unable to eat it at all.

This place is amazing. I ate here today with my son and fiance for the first time and we were blown away! Everything is delicious and you get plenty of food for a very fair price. Our server was also wonderful! We’ll definitely be returning.
