Prior to the new owners, I wouldn’t have stepped foot back in here. The food was always gross and never had any heart put into it. But now that the new owners took over, I love this place. The food is extraordinary, and you can tell they put their whole heart into cooking. It’s definitely one of the best Chinese places I have had in a very long time. Super excited that they are now in my town.

I’ve been coming to Leong’s for years, and their almond chicken is the best around. Crispy breading, tender chicken, and that brown gravy they pour over the top? It’s the kind of thing you crave out of nowhere and nothing else will hit the spot.
The portion is big enough that I usually end up with leftovers, which is never a bad thing. Rice is always cooked just right, and they don’t cheap out on the almonds either.
Staff is friendly, service is fast, and the food’s always hot and fresh.

Food was awful, my boyfriend got general Tao chicken and it was tasteless. Fried was rice tasted like it sat there for 48hrs plus, eggs rolls tasted old and their red sauce wasn’t the proper color and looked off. I got the shrimp lo míen, completely inedible as the shrimp tasted like dirt and the noodles left a strange aftertaste. Nothing was right with our food, I’m not picky but this food was unacceptable to even eat or pick out what I I didn’t want. For $25+ not worth the money, I can go to McDonald’s for better food. Even the Fortune cookie was stale.

The food is great. Good size portions. If you want the wonton strips for your soup you do have to buy a big bag. The orange chicken is a new dish with the new owners and it is really good.

Just went here and the place was very dirty, the lady was not nice. Lesson learned won’t be back. The food was such a small portion, the rice was dry and when I asked if I could get wonton egg drop mix she looked at me like I was nuts and flat out said eww no, in all my years that’s the first time I’ve been told no for that kinda soup

This is legitimately the best Chinese restaurant in Michigan. Hands down. Their chicken is always crispy, their fried rice is actually made in house, and their sauces are always on point.
They have basically ruined Chinese for me whenever I go to any other establishment.
No matter where I go, it’s never better than Richmond’s Leong’s!!!

Egg rolls are tiny (little) and cost a whopping 2.50 a piece. I asked for a diner size and they must have thought I said lunch. The 12.50 price for the meal may have reflected just that. Most dinners I’ve seen are around 15 dollars a piece. Id pay more I like left overs. But the egg roll size and price my god. other than that food was good.

They shut down the dining in and have carryout only. Almond boneless chicken was good, shrimp rings were great. Only gave them a 4 star rating due to the pork fried rice, wasn’t much than just brown rice with a couple tiny pieces of pork . Wonton was also good. I ordered 5 dinners and 2 quarts of soup. They had it ready in 15 minutes and the order wasn’t missing anything, prices were also reasonable.
