Got the combo plate with brisket, sausage chicken wings and fries for $27.
Brisket was extremely dry, sausage was very tough and also dry. The fries were good but definitely frozen. The chicken wings were good.
Restaurant is inside a gas station so not much of a “vibe.”
Service was pretty good. They ran out of large chicken wings so they substituted it for 2 small chicken wings.
In summary, i will not be returning. I can get more bang for my buck at bill millers.

Brought my family to finally try out this establishment. I ordered bbq for me and I ordered catfish with porato salad for my other family members. The food was really good. The catfish was amazing and the ribs fell right off the bone. The 3 meat plate (sausage, ribs and brisket) was really good but I found the portions to be small compared to other restaurants. But unlike other restaurants the sides were a good portion. The red beans and rice were the best I have ever had. Overall I enjoyed the food and would come back in the future if I was in the area.

I got the brisket sandwich sliced ( or so I thought ) and red beans and rice. The brisket was decent but I won’t lie to my fellow Texans , it either was not rested enough and cut too hot or it has sat too long in a steamer warner because it was going dry and tough. The beans and rice definitely a Texas style with good flavor . I will come back and check out some other menu items .

A & D BBQ & Seafood Kitchen is a hidden gem. I’ll start by saying I’m not a BBQ sauce guy at all but their sauce is seriously great and completely changed my mind. Perfect balance of flavor without overpowering the meat.
I ordered the ribs and catfish plate, and both were on point. The ribs were tender, well seasoned, and cooked just right. The catfish was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and tasted fresh. You can tell they put real care into their food.
Great food, great flavors, and definitely worth the stop. I’ll absolutely be back.

I ate there for the first time yesterday evening and I liked the ambience on the inside very surprised it was inside a gas station lol, but it’s a good space so you don’t “feel” like a it is, plus I went when it wasn’t busy so fairly quiet. I wasn’t impressed by the young man at the counter he just kind of stared off when I told him it was our first time there, and didn’t say much when we asked about the menu, just stared. We ordered since we wanted to try the food and even though the service was a turn off the food made up for it! It was delicious, and I’m going back to try the Oxtail meal (available ONLY on Saturdays) so excited to try it and update my post. I had the catfish and shrimp plate with fries and corn. All very good and crispy! I’ll try it again and hopefully get someone else, because the food is worth it!

We culdn’t wait to enjoy this take home meal as we waited on the road for construction crew. Dug into the shrimp and it was filling and very well seasoned as was the catfish. Hubby says it was mouth watering good! I enjoyed the chop brisket sandwich with coleslaw one of my favorite complementary side dishes, and it was a freshly chopped slaw with a tasteful just right season chopped brisket! Definitely coming back! well, worth the money spent! Veteran owned. Thank you for your service.

We just moved to the area and stopped in to grab BBQ at A&D. We ordered the brisket and sausage links and they were both DELICOUS! Their lean brisket was actually lean (unlike most places). We will definitely be returning!
