This crowded, neighborhood bar offers great events! My son and I attended the “What Lurks Beneath” winter ghost story event followed by Girl After Dark ‘s screening of an old Vincent Price film. So much fun!

they actually have non-alcoholic exlirs which I think is dope. The bartenders are very attentive. There’s books & cozy spaces to hangout BUT THE SOUND GUY! I performed there. I’ve performed for over 10 years around Pittsburgh. And he was so attentive as well, thorough. He cared. Everyone there cared. And that makes a difference. Great vibes, music & sound.

Literally will always be my favorite bar in the city. I don’t go to bars often but if I do it’s Poetry Lounge. Plus I always need a hot dog and they have ginormous hot dogs lol
And always having constant events, shows, etc. is so great since they support all kinds of artists.

Small neighborhood bar with live entertainment. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Beer/drink selection was excellent. Bartenders were quite friendly and made sure our drinks were never empty. The sound in the place was incredible and we enjoyed the singer we came to see. We parked on street for free just a short distance from the bar.
