Had lunch here and my sister and I totally enjoyed our meal. Well prepared and delicious . The portion is good. It was quick to prepare in less than 5minutes. I had Pad Thai while my sis had (Basil rice ). I recommend both. Really good

I ordered with Uber eats. I got the curry with crispy noodles. Ive had good orders but the sauce amount is so inconsistent. The picture on the menu shows so much sauce and when I received it, I had to look for the sauce, not a drop pooled at the bottom of my bowl. I’m very sad about this.

We stopped in for a quick lunch, and that’s what we got. The menu seemed nice enough so we order a shrimp spring roll, chicken pad Thai, and a drink. The total was $28 and I left a 15% tip ( for counter service).
The food arrived very fast (within 2 minutes) and we sat at a cafeteria style table.
The spring roll, although large, was wrapped in cellophane, only had 2 had pieces on shrimp, a lot of carrots, bean sprouts and lettuce, and came with a pre-packaged peanut sauce. On opening and biting into it , it was obviously sitting in the fridge for several days. The rice wrapper had become hard.
The pad Thai was served very hot with a tasty sauce, but consisted of noodles, a few pieces of overcooked (tough) chicken, a few bean sprouts and little else.
My partner likened it to a McDonalds restaurant with Thai cuisine.
Any product is a function of three variables. Quality, speed of delivery, and cost, each at the expense of the others. This restaurant is very fast, sadly at the expense of quality and cost.

We use to really enjoy the food here, but it is now overpriced for fast-food Thai. $18 for Pad Thai with a very small amount of meat is too pricey. There are many eat-in restaurants in Kingston where you can have really good Pad Thai, but with plenty of meat, and at the same price.

Good service, but my husband’s Pad Thai dish was undercooked, the noodles were practically raw, definitely not cooked. I had the Mango Thai, probably just the wrong choice, but I don’t recommend, it was very sweet, and both dishes were too heavily sauced – swimming. We both left with regrets and this being the second miss for us here, it’s off the list for a quick lunch.

I brought my child in Kingston to play volleyball today. I ordered a Pad Thai here for lunch. I was shocked that the size of Pad Thai here is just half of what I usually get in Ottawa. I’m a huge fan of Thai Express. I eat Pad Thai almost everyday for lunch in Ottawa. I know what the size of Pad Thai should be. Very disappointed with this location. You’d better avoid this location when you come to Kingston.

Thai Express at Riocan Plaza in Kingston is a great spot for tasty Thai food, but it does have a few quirks. The Pad Thai is one of the best items on the menu, and I love that you can choose your protein—whether you’re in the mood for chicken, shrimp, or tofu. The sauce has a perfect sweet and tangy balance, and the noodles are cooked just right, not too soft or hard. I got the chicken Pad Thai and was impressed with the portion sizes—it’s definitely enough for lunch or dinner, and you feel like you’re getting good value for money.
Their General Thai is also quite good. I ordered it with chicken, and it was crispy, coated with a sweet but slightly spicy sauce. However, the spice level was a bit much for me, so if you’re sensitive to spice, be sure to ask them to tone it down! It was still really tasty and satisfying though.

Had to return my soup. The broth was not good, chicken was chewy and all the vegetables were raw. The restaurant itself is dirty and it smelled like urine near the cash register. Never going back.

Disappointed. Was looking forward to having a quick lunch out after a long work week. Ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken – received it with tofu instead and only realized till I got home. Went back, got my correct order but the noodles are all cut up/small chunks instead of being long noodles and lack of broccoli. (Photo attached)
