Amazing!! Affordable, too! As soon as we walked in, the smell made me want to stay there all day. My husband said the rosemary ciabatta smelled like Thanksgiving. Everyone working was incredibly helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Cute place with very friendly staff and amazing variety of freshly baked bread, snacks, and desserts. The shop is kept very clean and there are tables to enjoy your items/coffee. My personal favorites are the specialty Kalamata olive bread, the chocolate chip coffee cake, the huge and delicious brioche loaf, their burger/sandwich buns, and those incredible chocolate chip cookies! The bakery is kosher if you adhere to it, and they have daily/weekly specialty items which is awesome if you like trying new things!
When I was there I noticed they have a variety of soups available during the weekdays, I’ll definitely be back to try some!
Overall this is a great family owned bakery and I’m looking forward to going back often to fulfill my baked good needs 🙂

In my search for the elusive sourdough bread bowl, I decided to go here and actually order it to be made. 5 small sourdough bread bowls only costed me $17. That’s a pretty decent price. So I bought them. I just love sourdough bread! The staff were an absolute joy as they helped me. I also bought a chocolate chip scone and a blueberry lemon scone. Good food! Will go back for more!

We got some really delicious bread and cookies here recently! The staff was very warm and friendly during our visit. The selection was awesome, and it is a big plus to know they are connected to the community. They are on the end of a strip mall complex, which is a little tricky for parking, but they are right by a traffic light so it is easy to get back onto Manchester. Give it a try, I think you will enjoy it 😉

People had been telling me about Breadsmith since I first moved to St. Louis. One of my neighbors brought a loaf of the chocolate chip pumpkin bread as a housewarming gift. I was in Chesterfield so it took me a while to finally get there but once I did I now go regularly. The service is wonderful and everything tastes great!

This place is awesome! Great staff & service, with a good variety of baked goods created in a large hearthstone oven on premises. Breads & muffins are their specialty. Today I picked up pumpkin chocolate chip muffins & french peasant bread. Their apple pie bread is also a favorite- makes best ever french toast.

Me and my husband just stopped by the shop as we are big bread fans, when we entered inside there was this basket on the table with olive bread and some chocolate chip bread to taste and both of them were amazing. we tried few more breads and all of them were too delicious. It was difficult to pick one out of all yummy breads. We bought a multigrain raisin and walnut bread and we just loved bread. The flavours were too rich, it had lots of raisins and nut in them. Very high quality product . I would definitely go again and try all of their products.

Oh my this place is amazing. Bought 5 loves specifically for my 90 year old Gramps who loves rye. We’ve tried various bakeries in IL and MO and Breadsmith was our top choice compared to others. The ryes, fruit, and sweet orange cranberry…all delightful. Was worried about having them sliced…thinking they’d dry out but they didn’t. Great job Breadsmith!
