Tried their Bun Bo Nuong (marinated rib eye) and it was delicious! Thin slices, easy to bite into and break apart. None of those huge uncooked chunks that gives you a hard time chewing! These were tasty and soft. There are no places to sit, so take-out only. Beware it can get pretty busy during peak hours, but they work quickly. Will be back to try some other dishes soon!

First time here, gotta say first of all the person running the front at the cash register is an absolute delight. Very nice guy, watched him carefully check every order before handing it out, didn’t rush anyone despite being busy and made sure everyone left happy. That’s a lot easier said than done from a place in FiDi during a weekday office rush.

Now onto the food, yes, $20 for a banh mi in sf is definitely above average price. But the banh mi here is very special. The grilled rib eye is sliced thin, nice amount of fat, and the char is exceptional. I can confirm this place is definitely worth the hype and the price. I am looking forward to trying the pork and the chicken in the future as well.

In short, definitely on the higher price point but for a good reason. The quality and cut of meat is exceptional. Very clean, organized, and overall fantastic for a nice treat. The bread stayed crispy all throughout the meal and the fish sauce and chili paste also added a nice depth of flavor.

Really good grilled pork banh mis, loved all of the ingredients but wish the inside of the actual baguette were scooped out to make it easier to eat. A little expensive at ~$20 after tip and taxes but probably on par with other lunch spots in FiDi. Would try their vermicelli or rice plate next

You can’t argue with that—lots of meat, high quality, clean, and respectful. It’s a shame they don’t have a duck sandwich like at 520 Gough St,, which is delicious. I highly recommend it.

I had the grilled pork banh mi, and it was massive! The flavours were on point, and I liked that there was radish, carrots, and cucumber all on it. It gets quite busy at lunch, but I’d definitely return for another one!

It’s takeout only. Got the hue rolls and spring rolls and they were so delicious. They fill your order quickly even at lunchtime. After ordering you might have to stand and wait for 5-10. The rolls are healthy-ish too. Would come back again for a quick and healthy ish lunch.

One of the best bahn mis (had the grilled pork) I’ve had!! Bit of a wait (20 min) on a Thursday lunch, so likely would have to come earlier than 12:30 to grab a quick bite and enjoy it in the nearby park. No seating on site!

The flavors are amazing and truly reminiscent of Southern Vietnamese cuisine. I especially love the Chả Cá Lã Vọng, which uses mắm nêm instead of mắm tôm—this unique twist is fantastic. The char-grilled BBQ pork in Bún Thịt Nướng and the Bún Chả Hà Nội with meatballs are also excellent. While the dishes are slightly sweeter and have more pepper compared to authentic Hanoian tastes, overall, I love every dish.

I am amazed there are not more reviews. This place is fantastic and consistently has long lunch lines. I usually have the Bun Thit Nuong (Pork Shoulder Noodle Bowl). The service is friendly and they do their best to keep things moving despite the lines. It is worth the wait. Very delicious, fresh and consistently excellent. Highly recommend!

Delicious food without the inconvenience of a long wait. They were pretty busy today, but we got our food quickly. The portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. I suggest you order ahead, because there is no indoor dining. They did have 2 chairs in the waiting area. Great experience with the staff. I definitely recommend you try this!
