Ladies and gentleman……. I think I have found the best slice in all of NYC. L’industrie move over…. The tik tokers haven’t found this spot yet thankfully so lines are not wrapping around the block yet. Superb pizza making by technique, you can taste the quality in every bite. Very flavorful and crisp. Love everything about this hidden gem located in Ridgewood. It is a must try. Very reasonable prices too

One of the best slices I’ve had in NYC lately, perfectly crispy base and a nice sweetness to the tomato sauce. No sicilian slices when I went, so I’m keen to go back and try them next time.

Had the NYM slice and banana pudding. Pizza was just ok but could tell the quality of ingredients was high. Crust was plain for what I’m used to however I would try again with a pizza that has more sauce and perhaps that would make the difference. Banana pudding was good no complaints.
Update: Went back about two weeks later and tried a different slice w/ more sauce, pepperoni. It was good, fresh, crisp crunch to the dough
Could def see myself ordering a full pie
The crust on its own when you get to the end of the pizza still pretty plain but when I saved some pepperonis to eat with it, it added some flavor
Would come back again

Born and raised in NYC. Been eating pizza here all my life. I grew up near Luigi’s in Brooklyn. I literally tried every top pizza place in NYC except for the super hyped “Ceres” place. Previously my favorite pizza was from L’Industrie. But I got to rate Mano’s up there. Just as good if not better. I ordered a regular pie and a Vodka pie. This is classic NY pizza but to the highest level. The dough is absolutely insane. The best pizza crust/dough I have ever had. I had it delivered 25 minutes from where I live now and in 30 degree weather. The delivery guy was on a scooter. But some how, the crust still came airy and crispy. Not soggy and wet from condensation. No flop what so ever. Only the top pizza places can get a crust like this. Others have to compensate by cooking it longer and burning it. I have no idea how this place only got a 7.8 from Portnoy. Easily 9+. In fact, my childhood pizza place Luigi’s rating should be a 7.8 and Mano’s should be a 9.3.

Best pizza ever. Plain slice is delicious and airy each bite tastes impossibly light and crispy. Honestly, my favorite pizza spot. PS sorry the pictures weren’t better. I couldn’t help myself.

EXCELLENT excellent pizza. A neighborhood hidden gem in Ridgewood serving top notch New York style pizza, you can absolutely taste the quality in every bite. Despite little fame and exposure online compared to other popular pizzerias in the city, I dare to say this place could be the top 5 best pizza spot in NYC. I traveled from Brooklyn to try it and I will gladly do so again and again.

This is the real deal New York pizza spot. Not many like these left. Premium quality great consistency and amazing customer service. Pricing is more than fair, I will be back every time I’m in New York. Thank you!!!

I like manos ..I really do. …I try pizzerias all over the five boros and long island …manos crust is consistently crispy and cooked properly …the problem is lately that’s all I feel like I’m getting ….I don’t like pizza that has too much sauce or cheese but lately manos feels like it does not have enough if either ..I don’t like pizza where the cheese goes to the edge I like crust but the past couple times it’s been a bit dry and mostly crust …I feel like there has been a cutback on the sauce and cheese and an increase of crust…don’t get me wrong the crust has a great taste but there has to be an equal balance .. It’s still a good slice of pizza and I don’t mind the wait for a slice sometimes…just needs to go back to the way it was a little more sauce a little more cheese and this would be a five star review

Nick is an incredible pizza maker.
I visited 28 pizza places in 9 days across New York, Philly and New Haven.
This one was the best.
The Sicilian slice is perfection.
Arrive right before it opens and you’ll have a full slice counter with little to no wait.
Don’t be like the idiot who gave it a 1 star because ‘it wasn’t open on Tuesdays’.
I’ve told everyone to go here who asked about my trip and I really hope they do.
Can’t wait to come back. Cheers.

Beware! Yes, the pizza is exceptional but what kind of business that states hours of operation (open till 10:00 PM) at 7:00 PM tells the customer we are only making 1 pie right now and you can only have 2 slices when it comes out of the oven.
Perhaps before venturing to Mano’s a precautionary phone call would be advised to find out what is available.
One of my strangest culinary experiences in quite some time.
Too many outstanding pizza’s to try before I go back…but that’s just me
Response to owner
Hey there,
I always try to support small business wherever I go. Mano’s has been around for quite some time indicating a strong business with superior product. I was disappointed to be told at 7:00 PM ( not near the end of business hours) 2 slices is all that was available.
Too much volume is a good problem to have and should be addressed if you want to keep those customers satisfied.
I understand you are disappointed with my experience but I never discredited the product (5 stars).
I am looking forward to you updating your ovens so I can confidently stop by and know I’ll get a chance to enjoy Mano’s pizza after a bit of a drive to get there.
I wish you many more years of great pizza making ✌️
