To start with, the service was one of the worst I’ve experience in Brussels. Disinterested, argumentative and slow. Had to continuously ask for things, and remind of orders.
Was asked to order food first, before drinks – then took ages to get a wine menu, which is weirdly on a tablet but you cannot order from a tablet.
We’ve ordered quite a few items, expecting them to arrive throughout the evening. The wait time was really long – and it seems like they wait to serve few things at a time – but then sushi comes alongside cold yakitori..
Some items came so late into the evening. Had to remind the waitress several times about sashimi, always getting some talk back that it’s coming. It’s coming later and on the last reminder that we didn’t order it. At that point we had enough.
Then there’s a weird robot that works as a waiter alongside, which seems to be redundant as it doesn’t make service faster or better.
The food was ok, some dishes were nice, some were underwhelming. However, there are so many better places to chose from in brussels and in the vicinity that I do not recommend.
For attitude alone, I will never return to this restaurant – and the prices do not match the quality of the food or the service.
First of all, the service was just not ok. I spoke to the lady in English and she responded in French, fully understand and acceptable – however the whole time I felt there was a major attitude. This to me is unacceptable. She also speaks English so that’s a bit disgusting.
Second, I was asked to order food first before the drinks. In all my restaurant visits, this is the first time that I’m being asked that. And nevertheless that still came with attitude.
Finally the food. Overall it was ok but took an hour to receive SASHIMI which is basically cutting a fish and in the end it never arrived even after reminding her.
They also have a robot which delivers the food however I don’t understand what’s the point of that robot when they come and serve you the food from the robot.
Overall very disappointed and not coming here again. I don’t come to restaurants to be treated badly. So much potential for this place so I hope they get better and focus on customer service.
I wish I could give 0 stars for the service. The girl who serves you at the table does not make a single effort to let you feel welcome. She does not communicate, has a very transactional relationship with the client and her job. I really felt she was only waiting for me to leave and close the restaurant (it Saturday lunchtime).
For a place that good and with this prices, I cannot accept this
The decorations itself really brought me to Japan.
I had the squid skewers with chicken dumplings for starters and I had the Katsu Ramen as main and it was amazing !
I will definitely come back
