When it comes to the atmosphere here, D’Ottavios certainly does it right! I had a meatball sub and then later a 3 egg D’Ottavios Italian style omelette with wheat toast and a serving of home fries. Everything was excellent! I also had 2 Pepsis and a black coffee. The coffee was fine, smooth, and actually better than I expected!
Even though I am new to the area, the employees there were so welcoming and hard-working! I also thought that this Italian restaurant (which serves all day breakfast) was a really cool thing! I was also impressed with the wide array of different things you can order there!
I found the prices to be reasonable as well (even though I eat a lot). I think this restaurant will be one of my favorite places to hang out whenever I need a break from cooking at home. I will definitely be back soon! ☕

My husband and daughter got wings and they were horrible. They had to throw them away. Thank goodness my son and I each got a small Stromboli because we had to share our dinner with those two. I’m only giving 3 stars because the two small Strombolis fed a family of four and they weren’t too bad.

My wife and I were in the area to babysit our grandchildren. Google maps indicated that this was a decent restaurant in the Tyrone area so we ordered our lunch online. We’ve never eaten there before. I started driving to the restaurant and was nearly there when I got a phone message from my wife who told me that the restaurant had contacted her and said due to an emergency they had to cancel our order. Since I was already close to the restaurant I decided to drive by to get an indication of what the emergency might be. There were no ambulances or fire trucks anywhere near the property so the emergency must have been relatively mild. Perhaps there was a sick customer inside who required emergency attention. In any case we were extremely disappointed that this emergency just happened to occur on the very hour when we decided to try this restaurant out. I doubt that we will be ordering from them again.

Bad experience there today. Ordered a Philly Cheese steak wrap it was OK but rather small. Wife ordered a hamburger with onion, received a cheese burger with nothing. Fries she got were cold and greasy. Told the waitress and she said they would make another one. We said we did not have another 25 minutes to wait for it. She stilled charged us $8.50 for their mistake. Two trips here in one.

Traveling through the area I found this place on Google Maps and decided to try it thinking it would be a cozy atmosphere. Not really. ..more like pizza take out joint with some tables in a highly lighted rock music playing joint. Had the stuffed shells they were great. Salad fresh but rather plain. Garlic toast..very hard. Overall fell short of my expectations but nothing really bad. I doubt I would return. Just not the atmosphere I was hoping to find.

Food was fine, no real complaints there, but our waitress must have been new or needs retrained. I ordered the New York strip and was not asked about whether I wanted fries or potatoes, and was not asked how I wanted my steak done, I had to tell her that. I heard her in the back asking “The New York strip, that comes with potatoes right?”. They also did not ask anything about our side salads, didn’t ask about dressing until it was brought out.

Food is awesome! New manager and cooks….. Yeah…. Edit…. Food is no longer awesome… Old manager old cooks… My friend ordered a cheese steak n got an Italian combo. Old rancid tasting oil, no flavor other than that! The dog wouldn’t even eat it! Got a replacement cheese steak. No flavor. Spices cost too much to use on these overpriced subs. 18.00 for what? Their rolls used to taste good. Now its like oil and air. No flavor at All. I have no idea how you eliminate every bit of flavor from food to that degree. It didn’t even rate baloney sandwich level! You lost a customer that would have been back weekly and maybe more, because you’re too cheap to season your food so it doesn’t taste like something served in prison. Waste of money. Couldn’t pay me to eat that. Sad part is, I grew up eating Paul’s food all the time when it was Francisco’s on the Diamond in Holidaysburg… That’s where you want to go, he still puts cheese in his strombolis… Without counting the strands first.

We went for breakfast. The service was fantastic. Our food came very quickly. The waitress Jamie was great!! I had what they call “The Mess” and it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. The staff knew everyone by name so I’m guessing it’s a place with lots of regulars. I would go again.

Went there today with some friends after fishing and we all ordered cheesesteaks. The waitress messed every hoagie up and forgot my cheese fries. When I got my cheese fries they were fries with two slices of kraft cheese melted on them. We weren’t angry or anything but did tell the waitress our orders were messed up. She then loudly said THEY’RE MESSING ME UP!!! After this she did not come back to our table till it came time to pay and another waitress waited on us.
