This diner is set inside an old train car, which gives it a fun, nostalgic vibe right from the start. I ordered a regular breakfast—nothing spicy or extra—just something simple. The food was straightforward and met expectations for a classic diner-style meal. Overall, it’s a casual spot with character, especially if you enjoy unique settings like historic train cars.

I loved the casual and happy vibe of this diner! The hostess and wait staff are friendly and their service is prompt without feeling rushed. I had the Crow Ricotta Toast: banana, walnuts, ricotta, and honey on wheat toast. Yum-yum!

Delicious food!!! A must…we got the breakfast, an omelet to die for and an over medium egg, both with homemade toasted and buttered bread, some home fries and some bacon. The coffee is the best I have had in all the region. All that served with a great attitude, super friendly staff. The music is perfect great acoustics and great interior design. Definitely a most!!!

Located in a great little town, right beside a very patriotic memorial. Cool diner car from the 40s, I believe integrated into a building.
The owner was so nice, the omelet was piping hot and delicious as were the slighlty spicy (in a good way) sausage. The wheat bread toast was so good, I asked for the brand (and she gave it to me).
The potatoes were not my cup of tea, but it was a great stop.
After too many fast food breakfasts. This was a welcomed change, and I recommend stopping by for a bite.
I’ve included the veteran’s memorial pics since it’s right next door.

A Charming Classic with Flavor and Heart
I stopped by Sunshine Diner in Bolton Landing on the 4th of July and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun—and it was absolutely delicious. The brioche was soft and golden, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
The staff were incredibly friendly and festive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the holiday. I also loved the unique charm of the diner itself—it looks like it’s built inside an old train car, adding a nostalgic, cozy vibe that makes the whole meal feel like a slice of Americana.
If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place. It’s a true gem.

You HAVE to go to Jamaican night. Every Saturday starting at 3:00. The food is DELICIOUS, me and my friend both enjoyed it and I brought home leftovers to eat later as well. The cook is an actual genius. Definitely a great decision to go!

Staff were very friendly and had great recommendations. The crow ricotta toast, hash, and breakfast sandwich are highly recommended. There is off street parking if you can find a space or just park at the grocery store. Definitely worth stopping by! Place is clean and food is hot!

An adorable diner with an amazing staff and delicious food! The decor was very retro and we had a great time as a group. There might be a line on weekend mornings but it is totally worth the wait!
