Welcome to THAI TOO – where fiery street food meets island life. We’re not a polished chain or a fusion experiment. We’re a little loud, a little spicy, and a lot Thai – straight from the wok to your table. Hidden on Mill Street in St. Peter Port, THAI TOO is a tiny kitchen with a big heart. Our food hits you with heat, herbs, and all the chaos Thai cooking is meant to have. Mild is an option, but heat is our love language. Our drinks menu is built for balance. Cold beers, cocktails and wines that know how to handle spice. Service is friendly, music’s on, and the vibe is come-as-you-are. It’s not about fine dining. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT
I’m extremely disappointed with both the service and the way this situation was handled by the restaurant.
I placed an order which was never delivered, despite being marked as “delivered” on the Takeout.gg app. The food was never received by me as they said the delivery address was incorrect, despite us using their online locate and pin system. I was later informed that the restaurant decided to take the food back, and I was then offered the same food reheated and re-delivered after 24 hours, which I found completely unacceptable. As they even suggested this I wouldn’t be surprised if customers are being fed left over food.
I contacted Takeout.gg, who did try to help and assist in resolving the issue, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the restaurant still refused to provide a refund for food that was never delivered.
When I contacted the restaurant directly to request a refund, the restaurant owner laughed on the phone when I mentioned a refund. I was also told that if I left a review, they would post the information on their Facebook page and let the “public decide”.
I find this response highly unprofessional. A business should respect consumer rights and handle complaints properly, not mock customers or attempt to discourage honest feedback.
I’m leaving this review to reflect my genuine experience and to warn others. I would strongly advise caution when ordering from this restaurant.

Thank you for your reply. However, there are several inaccuracies and concerning points that need to be addressed.
If the address was genuinely “incorrect,” the order should not have been accepted in the first place. The address provided was complete and has been used successfully for previous deliveries. Accepting payment and later claiming the address was invalid does not remove responsibility for fulfilling the service.
It is also untrue that the restaurant remained open for several hours awaiting contact. We attempted to call multiple times once the issue became apparent, but the phone was switched off, leaving no way to resolve the situation that evening.
Additionally, the suggestion that the food could simply be reheated the following day is inappropriate. Reheating food does not address concerns around quality, safety, or the fact that the delivery was never completed as agreed.
Under the Trading Standards (Guernsey) Ordinance 2023, if a takeaway order is not delivered at all, or not delivered within a reasonable or agreed time, this constitutes a breach of contract. In such circumstances, the consumer is entitled to a full refund, including any delivery charges, as the goods were never delivered and the service was not provided.
Regardless of any internal arrangements with a delivery provider, payment was taken for a service that was never fulfilled.
Overall, this experience reflects poor communication and a failure to meet basic consumer and legal obligations.

Great Thai restaurant recommended to us by our AirBnB host. Walked past it first as it is tucked away down a little ginnell. We were early and had to wait for them to open but it was totally worth it as the food was delicious. Thanks very much.

Small Thai place a short walk from the port with a reasonable selection of stir fry, noodle and curry dishes, many of the staple Thai meals are here. All the dishes tasted great, although we found the chicken wings a bit to salty. The staff warned us that the meals were very spicy, this warning was repeated several times to the point we changed our choice… they said they could make things less spicy and mild but after the hassle of the warning we just gave up and changed the dishes. They may be too spicy but we will never know! We also had to wait for over an hour for our main courses to arrive. We understand a large party (which arrived after us) ordered just mains and as the kitchen is staffed by one (very good) chef it took a while for things to turn up, which was frustrating for the kids. A meal for 2 adults 2 kids and no alcoholic drinks cost around £100.

Brilliant tasting Thai food. Not for the faint hearted if you like your food hot! They will cater for all levels of heat sensitivity but if you want an incredibly tasty and equally hot food this is the place. May be a little premium in price but well worth it. The layout is a little awkward simply because of the shape of the building which if busy can be a little noisy. Best book a table. Last time I came with a vegetarian they struggled and the food was bland tasting. May be for vegetarians it has improved since.
