Crunchy chicken sandwich is a must! The salads are very fresh. Great service and great food! We showed up around 6pm and the restaurant is pretty full. The owner is a super nice guy who used to live in NYC. Don’t forget to check out the bikes too!

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Lots of delicious gluten free options! We tried the Crunch Wrap and Beet salad and both were exquisite.

I purposely waited to try out the new location (we’ve been to the one in Stowe) when it opened because I knew there’d be kinks to work out. And I knew it would be packed because Woodstock has, basically, no place to eat (that’s affordable). It was really sad to see all the poor reviews a few months ago from the people who didn’t understand that.
I have now ordered takeout twice and dined-in once. First takeout experience was great. The chicken tacos and pork tacos were so flavorful. The peanut butter pie and the cheesecake are also AMAZING. I was excited for this restaurant because of their gluten-free options, and when a restaurant has gluten-free dessert options, that’s not an ice cream sundae…No words.
We had great service last week when we dined-in. My son tripped and fell on the way in, and there were quite a few tears and some blood. Everyone was there with Band-Aids and ice and compassion; I think even an employee that works downstairs with the bikes came up to see how he was doing. Anyway, the food service was quick, and I got refills on my water before I even needed one. I will definitely be back with the whole family!

We really wanted to love this place after seeing the line outside. Hopefully they are just working out the kinks from being new, but from trying to find parking, to getting our name on the waitlist, to waiting 40+ minutes to get our food, it was a disappointing experience. All in all, we spent over an hour and a half at ranch camp. Between the four of us, we got 2 crunch-wraps, the Vermonter burger, and the vermexico bowl. The food was good, not great. The atmosphere was okay. It was a cold night and they had the patio open, leading to a cold breeze inside. I was freezing, it made our food cold and there were flies dive-bombing us everywhere. We will not be back, but that’s partially because we live on the other side of the country.

On a busy holiday weekend, we were still treated well by the wait staff! The bike shop has great gear and swag to buy while you wait too. The menu was so diverse this is the kind of restaurant I would visit multiple times to try all the food that sounded good if I was in Woodstock longer. Every dish that was served around us looked amazing too. Draft beer, burger, salad, and artichokes were delicious. Our party of 4 all enjoyed their meals! themselves!

Honestly, this was a disappointing experience. We were a party of 6 coming on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. We called ahead when we were on the way and were told it would be about a 20 minute wait, which was fine. We arrived and were seated quickly, but were told the kitchen wasn’t taking orders for a bit because they were fulfilling a lot of takeout orders. We got our drinks and were eventually able to put in an order for a plate of nachos – it was about 45 minutes from being seated to receiving the food. The nachos came and were quite good, but then we waited another 15-20 minutes with no service. When we got water refills, we were told the kitchen was still not taking orders because of the takeout volume. We waited some more and then asked and were told it would be another 15 minutes to order and 40 for the food to be ready. At that point, we decided it was not worth the wait and got our check and left. We were really not impressed. It’s a bummer to have a full restaurant but make everyone wait for takeout orders to be prioritized first.

I have read the reviews on here and I do not put any credence in people complaining about wait times on a newly opened restaurant in the upper valley. It’s new, many people are checking it out and their staff is learning. That being said, our food was just ok for great food prices. Nobody at our table was blown away. Ordered fried cauliflower hot wings, they were soggy because they were drenched in hotsauce ( solution hot sauce on the side). Fries were lukewarm warm and not fresh. I ordered a margarita, very expensive and it tasted like sweet water. I think they forgot some ingredients. The expense was not worth the quality of the fare. It wasn’t busy so I am guessing that’s going to be the normal. We will wait a few months and try it again to make sure. The place looked great, was spacious, and the staff was friendly. They did hang out in the kitchen a lot. When we arrived we waited about 10 minutes before any staff made themselves availible from the kitchen.

Despite the wait, the burritos were great and the margaritas were perfect. RJ was a fantastic bartender; friendly, efficient, and handled the bar patrons with ease despite it being a busy Saturday evening after Christmas. We’re in town visiting family and they recommended this spot to us! It’s pertinent to note we lived in Texas for many years and are picky with our Mexican food, for New England, this was a great burrito made with care and fresh ingredients. Will def return!

Fantastic addition to the bike & culinary scene in Woodstock Vermont. Ranch Camp has the best Bike shop in the Northeast (along with its sister shop in Stowe). They serve excellent high quality food with many healthy options. More importantly they serve up a fantastic experience, build community and are owned by local awesome avid cyclists.

During our family vacation to Vermont, we chose Ranch Camp for dinner on our first evening, and it proved to be an excellent start to our trip. The service was excellent, with staff who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The restaurant’s concept is unique to the Woodstock area, offering a fresh and engaging atmosphere. My family and I especially enjoyed the biking theme, complete with TVs displaying cyclists navigating various trails, which made for enjoyable viewing throughout the meal.
The food was delicious, and the menu offers something appealing for everyone, which can be challenging to find while traveling. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked great, and it felt as though you could not go wrong with any selection. Ranch Camp stands out as a wonderful casual local spot, and it is highly recommended for anyone planning a visit Woodstock, Vermont.
