Fantastic find, looking from the outside you don’t get a real idea of what this place has to offer. By that I mean real home cooked food made to order. They strive (and succeed) to provide the customer with food you want to eat again. I can’t wait to have another excuse to go to Virginia and eat here again. I have to mention the soup of the day was Gabbage and pulled Pork, it was fantastic. If you get a chance to stop by, do so, you won’t be disappointed.

They have the BEST chicken tenders! We were told they make their own batter and fry them fresh! I would rather have this than Chickfila any day! We’ve eaten here 4-5 times now and it’s been consistently delicious!

Went to Papi’s last night for dinner and was definitely not disappointed. I got the special steak tips in mushroom sauce with rice. My wife got the hamburger steak in onions with fries. The food was AWESOME!! The staff was helpful. Prices are competitive. We can’t wait to go back for lunch or dinner again sometime soon.

The food here is always prepared fresh and made to order. You get your belly filled. The soup is almost a meal just in itself. The mozzarella sticks are fresh cut hand breaded. And the chicken tenders are done the same way.
We have gone for dinner several times now and never a disappointment and want to try breakfast sometime soon.
You will be going in hungry, leaving with a full belly bragging about them.

Nice resteraunt , friendly waitresses and staff in a extremely clean well kept setting. Food was hot and good. Waitresses kept us well supplied with anything we needed during the course of our meal. Loved the fire fighters equipment decorations. Great atmosphere ! Also as an extra bonus during the day the parking lot is an outdoor flee market , from early morning till late afternoon , 7 days a week.

Stopped on our way home to NC. This place is an absolute gem! So glad we took a chance on this locally owned restaurant. Everything is house-made and our meal was fantastic! The service was great as well.

Went with my sister and brother we all ordered eggs, bacon, toast and breakfast potatoes!, My sister’s and mine came out first it was completely cold ! Every bit of it we couldn’t eat it at all . I took one bite of my eat that was all .my sister tried to eat it hers was cold also . We simply sent it back without ordering anything else. My brother’s food came out like 10 minutes after we had ours his was ok but not great atleast it was warm. Can you believe they still tried charging for food we plainly sent back we did not consume it! I would not ever recommend this place to my enemies. Shame on you for treating us as if we did something wrong. Be apologetic to your customers at least!

Really good food! We had delicious homemade chicken soup also!!!
His potatoes were so tasty in my breakfast bowl. Tasted like they cook them in bacon grease. Absolute yummy!
Next time We might try the chicken Parmesan sandwich.

I had eaten here previously and was not a big fan but since Papi took over and made it Papi’s Place, this place is a must try. Played it safe with Papi’s Burger w/fries and the wife tried the Patty Melt w/onion rings. Both were phenomenal and I recommend everyone come give this place a shot when you’re in the area. They have daily specials that sound delicious and I’m looking forward to coming back soon.

We have eaten here several different times. Everything we have ordered we loved. Friendly service. I like the weekly special in addiction to menu items.
I wish there was a way to take the previous Firehouse reviews off here so they wouldn’t be lumped in with Papi’s place. Papi’s place was not affiliated with the previous restaurant.
Give them a try! One of the best cheeseburgers around, the Italian Beef Sandwich is amazing.
