The Food was really good. I had a Torta Cubana. It was really loaded. I was only able to finish half. My son ordered the Mojarra Frita. It was crispy the way he likes the rice and fries that came with it was really good too. I will definitely come back and try their tacos next time

So tried them for the second time today, the first being yesterday, and all I can say is hands down the best torta in the area! Had the barbacoa yesterday which the perfect meat to fat ratio and basically melted in my mouth. As for today, I had the trompo and it cooked to perfection and packed with flavor that melded perfect with everything thing else on the torta. If makes it even more obvious how good this place is I don’t have a car and walked 1.5 hours just to get here, it’s just that damned good.

Leaving a review because I go here so often, I should…. they are starting to know how I like my food. Lol. I love this place. I have tried almost every taco place in Red Oak looking for one with delicious Mexican food the way I like it, and they have checked off every box. Breakfast tacos served all day (because sometimes I wake up late and want breakfast) and they are always delicious. They have delicious regular steak fajita and trompo tacos and my new favorite is their Birria tacos. The consome comes with meat in it which I LOVE! The Horchata is so delicious with a hint of almond and cherry. Yummy. And the fact that the Elotes comes prepared with butter and mayo but the customer can add as much lemon pepper and hot sauce as desired is a dream come true. Highly recommend. I will definitely continue trying different things on the menu. The ladies at the register are always so sweet and polite and the occasional wave from the cooks makes me feel appreciated. Kudos!
