If you are a carnitas lover, this is the place for you. These are the most flavorful and delicious carnitas I have had in Portland. Everything else was good too especially the crispy tripa. But the carnitas is amazing.

Smallest tacos in Portland. Averages out to about $4 per taco since they are half the size of almost any other tacos you can find here. Fast and friendly but I’d pick someplace else first.

Any chance I get, I’m stopping at Tacos El Guero! I live on the other side of the river and will drive 40+ minutes for these tacos. They are small in size but they’re the best in town. They are quality tacos and always cooked to perfection. EL GUERO DOESN’T MISS!!! The food is always consistent. Check them out if you’re hungry and looking for authentic quality Mexican food.

I ordered three chicken tacos today and they were so salty. I have never had tacos thay salty. Let this be a lesson that you guys need to do something about the way you season your meat. I was starving so had no choice but to eat them all, but oh my gosh, I couldn’t believe how much salt they had on them.

Best place in the NW for homemade Hispanic food, been coming here for the last 5+yrs. Currently drive 40min one way just for this place. Can’t find anything that comes close to it in quality, This is not your average chain taco truck company, just good ol home cooking!

DUDE LET ME TELL YOU! do not go to this place it is the most disgusting please I have ever ate friend ever I ordered it on DoorDash because it was late and we really want a Mexican food and they were kind of open other than Taco Bell but we wanted real mexican food I order tamales she ordered a Taco plate. My tamales were so disgusting. They were first of all joey the chicken was the most Fajkus thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. It’s like they serve as dog food on a platter. I was baffled. Then I decided to go online and read the reviews and I related to each and everyone of them. It was so dont go here idek why its open it’s over price and disgusting. I should’ve went to Taco Bell.

Best Tacos I Have Had Since I Moved Here From Texas.

The Crispy Tripa was amazing, and their Lunch special is $10. You get 3 tacos, rice and beans, and a can soda.

The rice and beans were kinda bland, but after eating those three tacos, I didn’t care. I was in heaven.

We ordered a couple burritos got home started to eat. There was 4 tiny pieces of steak in mine and 6 tiny pieces of chicken in my girlfriends the rest was all rice. Never eating here again.

Maaaaaam, this is the place that single handedly ruined carnitas for me. Their carnitas are so dang good I can no longer eat them anywhere else but here. I have tried time and time again many different carts and restaurants and every time I find myself disappointed and coming right back to Tacos el Guero. The rest of their food is amazing and affordable making it an easy choice whenever I need a quick bite. Cannot recommend this place enough also, some dude opened up their own gentrified Mexican food shop and name it “Guero”, like come on! You couldn’t pick a different name? He also put it right down the street so I’d also recommend this place over that impostor shop.
