I gave this an average rating but still think it’s worth a stop if you are in the area. The pizza tasted fine that I ordered but was drowning in oil, I think less would be much better as I found myself using napkins to soak up all the extra oil it had on it. I ended up giving rest of my pizza, which was not cheap at 25 bucks, to a local old dude sitting outside and he asked, what kind is it and I showed him and he said, I’ll eat it but has lot oil on it, I chuckled and said I agreed but was tasty. Interesting were the chickens n rooster roaming around, watch out that is alwys watching.

Absolutely amazing experience!
The food here is incredible – truly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The dough was perfect, the flavor was rich, and everything tasted fresh and made with love.

The staff made our experience even better.
Javier was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. He explained everything to us, helped us choose, and made us feel like special guests.
And the chef who prepared our pizza (I wish I caught his name!) deserves a huge compliment – he made the most delicious pizza I’ve had on the island.

We even received a little gift from the staff, which was such a sweet and unexpected touch.

Highly recommend this place -amazing food, amazing people.
Javier recommended!

Will definitely come back. ✨

I recommend the empanadas. I also tried the Chicken Milanesa Sandwich, but the chicken was very dry and stringy, which made it difficult to eat, so I wouldn’t recommend that item.

A brick oven or stone oven, with a wood fire. The magic oven is a must-stop for anyone who loves great food, combining the local dishes with international ones. The chef truly knows how to pair ingredients. I had two types of pizza, the Fugazza and Prochuto with arugula. Then another visit had empanadas, milanesa. A local man sitting next to me had the burger, and it was cooked to perfection. The Magic Oven is located next to Jaws Country store, so if you need a last-minute gift, that’s the place for a unique one. If you don’t know what you want to eat, ask the staff; their recommendations are excellent.
NOTE: No alcoholic beverages were being sold at the time.

I recently visited The Magic Oven at Jaws on Hana Highway and had an amazing experience! The veggie sandwich I ordered was absolutely delicious, packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that left me feeling satisfied and healthy. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a laid-back, welcoming vibe that’s quintessentially Maui.

One of the highlights of dining here is the ability to watch people playing and enjoying themselves outside while you eat. It’s such a joyful and relaxing sight, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home.

If you’re looking for a place that embodies the true spirit of Maui with great food and a wonderful atmosphere, The Magic Oven at Jaws is a must-visit!

For a Gluten Free girl, this was such a gem to to find after a long day driving the Road to Hana! I live in Western New York and we have a decent selection of gluten free options. This place blew them all out of the water. I got the gluten free prosciutto en fungi pizza and my husband got the normal meat trio pizza. When the food was done I questioned the crust because it looked way too good to be GF. The cook by the brick oven reassured me it was GF. Wow! I truly don’t think I’ll ever have as good of a gluten free pizza again in my life unless I go back to this spot one day! The pizza was also large enough that we each got two sizable meals out of our pizzas. The restaurant is open air and is attached to a cute shop to look though while you wait for your order. Definitely would recommend this spot to gluten free and non gluten free people passing through the area!

I got a gluten-free quattro fromage pizza (four cheese). I was expecting something like white sauce being used or some kind of sauce, but it was a dry pizza with a huge amount of cheese on top, nothing else. They do use a lot of garlic oil in their pizza, was pretty tasty. I didn’t really like the pizza. Service was good, though. My pizza was very salty, like most pizza, but this one tasted particularly salty, the four cheese one. Must have been part of the cheese selection. I really just wasn’t impressed with the food. I didn’t like the atmosphere, lots of loudly speaking tourists here and smoke rushing over most of the tables in the trade winds. There was a particularly annoying child asking for things to his mom over and over, which was very distracting and loud. The pizza was just okay for me, I wasn’t impressed at all. What saves this place is that they are customer orientated, made sure I was taken care of, and were offering friendly services, which made up for most of the issues.

We discover The Magic Oven at the beginning of our Road to Hana, I have to say it was a blessing you can order the most delicious empanadas at the same time enjoy the beautiful surroundings around and had five stars service from the owners of the place.

This was a fantastic find on our road trip today to see ahead and drive the Road to Hana. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming and they have the sweetest boxer named Messi.

It’s a beautiful setting with plenty of outdoor seating and a great bar-type counter for more seating. There are even some lawn games although we didn’t have time for that.

The food was delicious! The ham and pineapple pizza had the creamiest cheese I’ve had, the pineapple was fresh, and the crust was crispy and the perfect texture. We loved the beef and chicken empanadas! My son had a large açaí bowl which was fresh, flavorful and huge. My daughter had a great smoothie. This is definitely a must stop place for great food, and we can’t wait to come back to Maui and eat here again!
