The outdoor seating is perfect on warm days. It’s like having a picnic and who doesn’t love a picnic!
There’s usually enough free parking spaces to just pull up, order at the window, and then enjoy.
Great Location for if your going to Costco in Altamonte Springs, work in the area, or out shopping at HomeGoods or TJMaxx.
To end the day, we are taking home dinner to our family, with yet another smiling cat agua fresca. God bless Mis Antojitos and Forest City Vet.
P.S. the watermelon agua Fresca is where it’s at
The worst thing you can do for a restaurant is to leave dissatisfied, never letting them know what could be improved, and vowing secretly to never return.
Was that enough of a buffer? Off we go.
The people running this place could not be kinder. They seem like good people. I got three tacos: one marinated pork, one steak, and one chicken. Of the three, the marinated pork was excellent; it had a nice flavorful tang that invites you back. The other two lacked seasoning. The difficulty with the place is that the tortillas themselves seem like they were made hours before – I hope they weren’t store bought. Definitely not hot. The meat was room temperature, like you’d expect at Chipotle.
The number one improvement this place could make is to throw those tortillas on a hot grill for 10 seconds a side, do the same with the meat, and send it all out.
I want this place to succeed. We need a good authentic place on this side of town.
I’m gonna stop back in in a month or so and see if they’ve improved. I’ll leave the review subject to revision. I wish them the best.
The first one is their ‘quesadilla’. It was the size of their tacos and was basically a taco folded in half, for 6.95 I was expecting something bigger like their advertised picture. In my picture I only took 2 bites out of it and ate it like a taco. It was tiny.
The second with the lettuce is their empanada, I got chicken, it was not flavorful and also for 6.95 I was expecting it to come with more than 1.
I wanted to like place but the only thing I enjoyed was the watermelon Fresca.
Even the woman who takes orders is very snappy with you.
