This food was amazing! There were 4 of us, we got 3 different Mac bowls and a burger. It was all delicious. The lady running the front, who I believe was the owner maybe, was so sweet to us. This is a hidden gem that anyone driving by should stop by and try. We find it by happenstance, but if we’re ever back in the area we will make it a point to go there.

You don’t want to miss this amazing hidden gem to get some very delicious grub! The menu has a nice selection from the tasty cheese curds, loaded bowls of mac-n-cheese to fresh, farm raised fried catfish and amazing fried okra. Dana was extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and made us feel like we were having dinner with family. Owner, Mason, was working hard in the kitchen along with his assistant preparing food that was hot, fresh and tasted great! Definitely will be back!

If you are in Warrior Alabama, go to The Mac Shack. The second we walked in, Dana greeted us and she was seriously the nicest person ever. She gave us great recommendations and even surprised us with a free dessert. She made us feel so welcome.
Now the Mac and cheese needs its own moment. It was insanely good. I’m talking creamy, perfect flavor, actual melt-in-your-soul good. It tasted like someone put every good memory of childhood into a bowl and covered it in cheese. Easily the best Mac and cheese I have ever had.
The fries were top tier and the ranch is something I would honestly eat by itself because it was that good. The fried Oreos were warm, comforting, and ridiculously good.
If you love good food and don’t want to be disappointed, this place is worth every single bite. I will definitely be coming back.

Super unique and nice local spot. Noah was so helpful from the second we walked in the door. It was our first time and he was so helpful helping us decide what we should get. We got the build your own bowl and the mac and cheese burger and they were both great. The fries were also super good. Noah was so helpful and sweet – he really elevated our experience with his attentiveness and kind spirit. We will definitely be back 🙂

The food is DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the make your own mac and it was so good!!! You can get as many toppings as you want without additional cost and the mac isnt ordinary at all. Sooo good! And the service was also amazing. The woman at the register just as well as the cook are so kind and welcoming:) The experience was amazing, now we come often and the portions were plentiful! The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming too! I love the booths and the simple atmosphere:) very inviting and quaint! It was amazing as a whole and anyone considering should DEFINITELY come enjoy it themselves:) perfect place for specialized mac and a simple (but juicy) cheeseburger!

Visited for the first time and was helped through ordering their menu. The food is very customizable. I got a macaroni bowl with grilled chicken, cheddar and pepperjack cheese, with toppings of onion, bacon, mozzarella, buffalo and ranch.

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant and if you haven’t found them yet you’re missing out! Their food is DELICIOUS, and you get so much food for the price! They are kid friendly. We tried multiple pasta bowls building our own, we also tried their wings (which is my daughter’s favorite)! The staff was so above and beyond friendly!

Out-of-towners spending the day at local Rickwood Caverns S.P. We searched for a local spot to grab an early dinner before we headed home. The Mac Shack did not disappoint! The sweet young lady who waited us was super friendly, informative, and eager to help! The kids got awesome burgers and such. I did the build your own mac bowl. Every single one of my pregnancy cravings were hit! One of the most delicious meals I’ve had! Recommend this restaurant with the highest of ratings, you will not leave unhappy! We may be making another trip down just to visit this spot!
