Super cool spot. Live the history and the cool wooden coolers behind the bar. First time here – was very excited about the Polish menu. We were there shortly after 4pm when it became available and the cabbage rolls were not super hot but that was probably due to the timing. Truffle fries were really good and the portion was MASSIVE. The pork cutlet Polish meal was awesome. Loved the addition of the cucumber salad )even though I can’t do dairy I had to have a taste). They were all super sweet. Took a while to get our first drink order but otherwise everything was fabulous!

Rustic laid back atmosphere, with amazing food. My steak was cooked perfect. Definitely a busy place we luckily got a seat right away.

My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new for lunch and this restaurant did not disappoint! Our server was super kind and the food was delicious. The french fries were amazing and definitely worth the trip! We can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food and a good selection of drinks. Check how busy it is since it can get a little crowded. They can seat decent sized groups, but you’ll get a table quickest with 6 or less people. The fish is great and the truffle fries are a staple of the menu, highly recommend.

Food was very good. You’re pay a buck or two more here for food. Service could have been better, just a little slow. I haven’t been here in 20 years. And of course it’s changed. Miss the Polish food.

So wanted to like this place, as we have just recently moved to this area and are looking for some new places for dining out. After getting seated it took quite some time for anyone to come and take our drink order. Other people coming in after us were getting their drink orders before anyone even came to take ours. After placing drink and food orders, more people continued to come in and get their drink and food order delivered to them before us. After getting our order my vegetables were cold. Food taste was fine. Also asked for steak sauce, because it was the special for the night, and they only had 2 bottles, both pretty much empty. Who has steak special night without making sure they have steak sauce. Will probably not be going back here.

Wow! Such a charming spot located in Canonsburg, Michigan. Cozy atmosphere. I love the “Liquor“ flashing sign on the very tip top of the roof. It’s fun to look at all of the old beer taps lining the room. And they have a payphone! Honey Creek definitely has mastered the fried fish and french fries. The pickle soup was flavorful, but a little floury from my taste. I’d probably try it again though because it really was unique. Friendly staff, I really enjoyed my visit.

Saw they were featuring a seafood boil tonight, so begged the hubby to take me there. It was wonderful! Our server was great as well. Always a good experience here!

Ordered the walleye with potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Walleye was breaded in Panko. How do you cook something with Panko and not get it crispy? This cook accomplished this feat. Not a chef by any stretch of the imagination. The fish was bland and mushy no lemon wedges in sight. Now the vegetables. Both were raw. I like toothsome veggies but these were inedible. This was the worst meal I’ve had in a very long time if not maybe ever. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Terrific casual dinner and drinks spot at Honey Creek Inn. Enjoyed the Walleye Dinner with grilled brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes along with the Cannonsburg Burger. Did I mention it’s a ⅓lb of freshly ground round from the grist mill across the street. Service was too notch, and the bar had a decent selection of scotch and bourbon. Went with the Red Breast 12 year Irish Whisky neat and wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommend a visit if your in the Cannonsburg area, followed by a visit to the bottle shop next door and a scenic drive home down Honey Creek Rd back to the GR metro area.
