Visited this Jamaican food spot at least 2 to 3 times so far. The food is very fresh and taste very authentic. I would give more star’s if I could. Staff is cordial. Rough neighborhood but the food is delicious. Best Jamaican food I had in Connecticut so far. I would definitely recommend.

I don’t know why I didn’t just walk out I came into the restaurant walk to the buffet the server was on the other side doing something it asked me form afar wha ya want!? Like I strolled off the street into his house and not into a restaurant there’s no menu nothing written down no prices no prices but I came out of my way to order some Jamaican food so I just simply asked for brown stew chicken dinner aggressively asked what size I go medium and then aggressively what kind of rice cool I don’t mind the rudeness if the food is good but that was not the case two out of 10 would not recommend

So this was my first time here and I was very Disappointed. The Service was not good at all. Asked about soup answer was mumbled I still don’t know what kind of soup they have. Now Price on the sign it says one thing was charged something different. Food for 17 dollars I got 7 small pieces of Oxtail. Mind you the sign stated medium oxtail was 16.00. Rice was hard guess it was scrapped from the bottom. And it’s very Salty. So this will be my first and LAST TIME. I heard so many good things about this place but it all wasn’t true. That was 2 dollars of Plantain

Bliss Vybz has always had delicious food but I had the pleasure of experiencing the catering services last week and was very pleased! They arrived on time and made sure everything was in place and being appropriately heated before they left. The curried goat and curried chicken were well seasoned and paired well with the white rice. The jerk chicken was authentic, smokey and delicious! The rice and peas and steamed cabbage complimented the meal and soaked up all of the flavors from the the gravies! The salmon bites were the talk of the party! They were so tender and flavorful! The service and attention to detail they provided was outstanding! I definitely recommend them for any event corporate or personal! There is so much more food to try. You will not be disappointed!

Wow, I was so happy to find this place. On a business trip to Hartford, got off the beaten path in Waterbury to try something local. I ordered the Curry Shrimp with Cabbage and Brown Rice. Friendly vibes with most here! Food quality outta site. A Dozen shrimp and more rice I could ever eat, although with that flavor I wanted to. Owner comped me a nice drink. Loved it, Thanks Ruben!
