We eat there often and have never had a bad meal. We have tried almost everything on the menu. My spouse is vegetarian and there are plenty of delicious options for her. Best Chicken Marsala I have had. Great homemade sauces. Unbelievable tiramisu. Large portions and reasonable prices. Great lunch menu as well. Great location, near the airport and route 81. Wait staff outstanding.

The food was delicious. The staff here are friendly and the atmosphere isn’t as hectic as most other restaurants.

The reason that I gave a 4 star rating is because I thought there could have been a little bit less sauce and less breading on the Piccata. Other than that it was very flavorful.

I would highly recommend going here if anyone asked me about local restaurants. You’ll get a full Italian meal but remember to bring your own wine.

If you want every dish made from scratch and don’t mind waiting a little extra for it this is a place for you. The food is as good as it gets and seeing its a BYOB you save money too. Yes it’s ugly inside and out, yes service is slow but that is what you get when you want fresh made to order food. Dressing is homemade as well and all deserts are made right there. Don’t judge this book by its cover, you will be truly surprised and happy! Give your taste buds a treat, take them to Sorrento’s.

We decided to give Sorrento’s a try for our Friday night dinner. Have no complaints about the food, it was very tasty and nice portions. However, if your looking for prompt service or your doing dinner & a show, this isn’t the place for you. Plenty of wait staff running around, they were just running in every direction except toward our table. We arrived at 6:20pm for our 6:30pm reservation, seated promptly and that was the last thing that was prompt. Took about 15 minutes to get drinks, another 20 minutes before the waitress came back to take our orders. At which time she never reviewed the specials, which were not anywhere on the menu or the table. We actually had to get up an step out of the dining room into their alcove to read them ourselves. An easy 15 minutes before salads, soup and bread came out, then another 25 minutes for our dinners. Waitress never followed up, to see if we needed anything, like refills. So, like I said, food was very good, nice portions and if your not in a hurry, this is the place for you. Just in case you were wondering there was a total of 5 tables of customers, including ours.

Wonderful hole in the wall restaurant with great, friendly staff! Patty and Debbie are always there to welcome with a warm smile and hug! Food has always been top notch. Be sure to bring your own wine or beer because they do not sell alcohol. Saves you a few bucks on drinks and you get a perfectly spledid dining experience! My husband and I are regulars!

Small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Excellent food and tremendous portions. I saw someone say that their prices are too high. McDonald’s is right next door if you want anything cheaper because they have some of the cheapest prices I’ve noticed. It’s an all-hands-on-deck scenario so sometimes the service isn’t as swift as a lot of picky people would hope for. However, once the food comes out, you’ll forget about all of that because the portions are right and the food tastes even better. I can imagine a lot of Negative Nancy’s are looking for the servers to just hang around your table. No. Bring a bottle of wine, sit back, and enjoy yourselves. And by the way, it’s not dirty there. I don’t understand where anyone came up with that. Must be rival restaurants trying to bad-talk an excellent establishment. A MUST if you’re in search of a new go-to.

Beans & greens to go back for any time! This is a true Italian restaurant with consistently great food. Their sauce is the best I’ve tasted in Syracuse. The wait-staff is experienced, friendly, and always eager to please. Love this place!

I’ve eaten here a couple of times with my family, and both times I left very satisfied. I most recently ordered the Chicken Francaise and it came out fresh and delicious, one of the best I’ve had in fact. The Portuguese long hots and greens appetizers were both phenomenal as well. The Syracuse area is littered with quality Italian eateries, and this place is a prime example of an inconspicuous Italian eatery that deserves more recognition!

My boyfriend and I drove past this place several times and decided we’d give it a try for dinner, I can’t begin to mention how outstanding the service was and how tasteful the food was. The atmosphere was old school Italian and welcoming, I wish we tried out this place sooner! Thank you for a delightful first experience, we definitely will be returning

I would avoid this place. I see a lot of good reviews on here so maybe things have changed around there. I’m new in town, maybe this is the norm.

1. Looks run down on the outside and you eat off a tablecloth with plastic laid over it.
2. Has a bar and a bud light sign but its a BYOB establishment. Coke or tea only.
3. Food is questionable since I’m currently feeling sick after leaving there.
4. Its a sit down restaurant so speed isn’t what you expect. But an hour and half wait time when there’s only 5 or 6 tables seems excessive.

The waitresses were all very pleasant though on the bright side. But considering there’s an Italian joint on every corner in this town, there are other options.
