If you’re not wanting to cook for the night and want a quick bite to eat, this is the place! Not super fancy by any means, but quick, affordable and fresh! I ordered the Mongolian beef and it came with rice and egg roll. I ordered the beef medium hot and it was just that! If you’re a true Minnesotan, you might want to order “little” spice. The fried rice was plain but it complimented the Mongolian beef well. I loved the egg roll! It had this peppery-ness to it, but not spicy. Overall we are pleased and will recommend this place. Bugles bugles.

Never tried this, figured I’d stop in on my way home for lunch. Service was great. Took them only 10 minutes to cook up my food which was also great. I ordered the orange chicken lunch special that comes with fried rice and then an order of vegetable lo mein on the side. The lo mein is very good, big container. The orange chicken i like as well, the fried rice is a bit different from the usual rice i’m used to but it still tastes good. Overall good food and good experience.

We ordered boneless spare ribs- white rice and the sugar donuts. The white rice and sugar donuts were good. Boneless spare ribs had a nasty odor and look to them…. Threw it out immediately

I highly recommend China City! It has become our Chinese restaurant. The black pepper chicken is our favorite menu item! It took us a few tries to nail down our favorites and I’m glad we continued to try more dishes. We now order the same thing every time we go because these items are that good: Teriyaki chicken on a stick, black pepper chicken, mei fun & fried rice. The fried rice has greatly improved! I recommend trying it again if you haven’t ordered it in a while! The owners are absolutely darling and the service is always so great!

It is nice having a Chinese restaurant in town! The food is good, some items are better than others, you just have to try everything and determine your faves (but dont bother with the fried rice)! The chicken dishes are good, well cooked and moist. I wish they served pork, but for some reason it is not on the menu. Very nice and friendly service!!

I ordered orange chicken it was more like sesame chicken without the sesame it was very dry, did not have any oranges in it at all. Very very disappointed!!! the egg rolls are small and again no flavor. I also ordered chicken fried rice and it was very dry and no flavor!! I had them once before about year ago food was great! Now no taste, no flavor, bland, dry, and u don’t get what u order!! Very very disappointing. I talked to manager he argued with me that the order was correct and that I was wrong!! I live in Morristown which is by Faribault mn so yeah it’s a drive to get another order. So I didn’t get my money back or offered a new meal. Quality sucks and the price u pay for food it should be Right!! I will never recommend this place I give it a very negative review!!

Overall, I had a pretty good time dining there. I left feeling content and glad that I stopped by. Would I go back? Definitely! If I’m in the neighborhood and craving Chinese food, I’d be more than happy to give it another shot. it’s definitely on the list of places I’d consider revisiting
