I’ve been shopping at Junior Baker for years, since around 2012, and they continue to be one of my favourite local allergen-free spots to this day. If it’s for a specialty order, or just getting some GF & yeast free mana buns, or a GF loaf of sourdough bread, Junior Baker has it all.
Most recently, I put in a custom order for some GF and DF maple cinnamon squares, Crumbl-style, and they were absolutely amazing. Soft, flavourful, with perfectly balanced sweetness, and honestly hard to believe they’re GF & DF. You would never know unless you were told. To me, they even tasted exactly like Crumbl’s Maple Cinnamon Square. I’d really love to see this added to their regular roster because it’s a 10/10 for me.
What really sets Junior Baker apart is their ability to do custom orders and accommodate dietary needs without sacrificing quality or taste. On top of that, the staff and bakers are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about what they’re making. They’re easy to get a hold of either by phone or email for orders, requests, and questions.
Consistently great baking, great people, and great service. Highly recommend them, as always. I’m grateful Sarnia has a place like this for those of us with food sensitivities.

Ordered cupcakes and a small cake for my wedding. Every step of the way they were wonderful. Never thought gluten free and dairy free cupcakes could taste so good. Best cupcakes of any kind i ever had. They displayed them well and everyone loved them. Thank you Jr Baker for adding to our perfect wedding.

Ordered a custom cake for my 50th birthday, and I wasn’t honestly that impressed with the cake received for what it cost. I thought I was fairly specific with my request in the email, but maybe I wasn’t – was my first time ordering a custom cake, so I take some responsibility as well. I just don’t think the cake received justified the costs. For the price paid I could have bought two or even three cakes at my local Foodland that would have probably tasted just as good, and would have definitely been more decorated. The cake was good, but underwhelming to be honest.

I chose Junior Baker based on photos of their cookies on Google Reviews. When we received our order, I was completely & utterly impressed! They certainly exceeded our expectations! When I ordered 20 cookies less than a week before my event, they were kind & accommodating. I gave vague direction and used phases like, “whatever is easiest for you”. When I received the cookies, I was blown away by the detail that was used! Not to mention the sugar cookies were delicious! Junior Baker thought everything through & even made sure to ask for our colour theme, to make the cookies match our Italy inspired engagement party. I am very thrilled with their attention to detail and readiness to listen. When you visit this cute shop you will feel invited & cared for there. I was happy to meet them & learn they have been in business for over 20 years. I’ve already gone back to try their brownies & they were equally as fabulous! Thank you so much Junior Baker!

This bakery has great tasting baked goods at decent prices. The brownie was my favourite but cookies and muffins were also great. The muffins were moist and flavourful unlike many places I’ve tried. Brownie was so tempting that it didn’t last long enough to take a picture.

My wife was promised some vegan cupcakes be held for her for pick up today upon calling somehow these cupcakes were sold and my wife never informed . Thank you for screwing us over mzs sweets in port huron bailed you out once again . So anyone considering having faith in this bakery take the 9 minute drive to port huron i will not support this local business after this .
