Place just opened up so expect a bit of a wait, but that is because this place is legit and coming back to GR. Place is super clean and you can tell the family put a lot of effort to open this place up.
Food was phenomenal! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the breading is perfectly seasoned and the chicken cooked perfect throughout. You can’t beat well cooked crinkle cut fries either! Bbq was perfect taste, need to try the hot sauce next time as I think they were out.
Looking forward to trying some more things on the menu!

The BEST chicken in the country. So happy they re-opened. The new owner is incredible nice, and the chicken is identical to what it was before. Such an iconic place, can’t wait to be back.

I had two pieces of chicken and fries, it was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, as well as perfectly crispy on the outside. The fries are crinckle cut fries. My son had a hot dog fries and a cup of cheese, he said it was really good. We plan to go back for more of that chicken and to try their never frozen burger and Italian beef the service was awesome. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly.The prices are very reasonable.

The neighborhoods prayers have been answered! Minihut is back and is as good as ever. The chicken has changed it’s the same amazing flavor that made them a neighborhood staple. Staff is freindly, and the food comes out quickly. Going there brings back my memories of going with my dad before he passed to get it. He loved Minihut and always was up for their chicken. Thank you for bringing back this great neighborhood gem!

So the family me Mom Dad sis we’re hungry and looking around the neighborhood decide what we can get to eat that was somewhat cheap which doesn’t happen no more. We decided to go to mini Hut since the reopening, only thing our family good say about there. Chicken mean !AMAZING FLOVORFUL JUICY AND UMM UMM GOOD .The new owners were very kind and good people .My dad that is one that is hard to please or get a compliment out of, even he was blown away by how good the meal was. For $26 for an eight-piece meal that came with two fries coleslaw and biscuit,not only are they great food but also so reasonably priced compared to KFC and there 8 pc meal for 49.99 ! Looking forward to going back over and over again to try other menu items that interest my family. It is so glad to have this place back in the neighborhood where it belongs. Thank you the owners for not only a great delicious meal and friendly atmosphere, wish you nothing but success and hopefully a long stay in clearing Garfield ridge.

The chicken was perfect ! crunchy on the outside and super juicy on the inside—exactly what you hope for when you hear “crispy.” The seasoning had great flavor and every bite was fresh & hot.
I ordered a family dinner which included bread rolls and fries. Portions were generous, and the prices felt fair for the quality.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place itself was clean. Service was quick even though they were busy, which is always a plus.

There are other good chicken places around. But, Mini Hut is, by far, THE BEST fried chicken we’ve ever tasted. Period. Fresh, juicy, crispy, flavorful. Great cole slaw, too. Well worth going out of the way for. You get what you pay for at Mini Hut. We love it.

I was so excited to hear that Mimi Hut opened up again. We ordered the 4 piece chicken boat to split. We called around 1130 to place a pick up order and told that it would be ready at 1215. I get there at 1210, the food was on the rack ready but it must have sitting there for awhile. The fries were cold and the chicken was luke warm. The chicken wasn’t too bad though. I was so excited but then disappointed that the food wasn’t hot.

So glad Mini Hut is back!! They have the best butter crust chicken around. The food was excellent and really enjoyed it. However, be cautious, the step just inside the entrance door is a safety concern. It’s not very noticeable and although there are signs, they’re not prominent enough to prevent someone from missing it. Unfortunately, I took a fall because of it. I would strongly suggest installing a handrail or making the step more visible to help prevent future accidents. Submitted very respectfully.
