My first visit. I was initially hungry for Chinese, so I left work to China Star. I did see an item I wanted to try, therefore I walked up to the counter & a male came up. I told him what I wanted to order, and asked if I could get the lunch special. He said no, and I stated it was my first time. I was only 30 min late for lunch, but I figured they wanted my business and would allow me the lunch meal price. He walked away, and the lady a short while came up to the counter. I stated to her that it was my first time, and if I could have the lunch special. She said no, & I then walked out. I will not return. Aside from the negative comments on Google, my experience was not pleasant. What happened to good ol friendly service?

I have to change my review. I’ve been going here 15 years , loved it even with the rude lady. Last few times I’ve been there the wonton soup is like mush . Paper thin noodles that sat for way too long. The egg rolls must have been fried a second time to reheat. Over done. I can understand smaller portions, but this was by half for the same price. Won’t go there again.

This place is good to order food from. You’ll be able to get an exact idea of what the food here is like, just by standing anywhere within a 1/4 mile radius of this restaurant, because you’ll be able to smell it. They blast all of the surrounding areas with their kitchen exhaust system, which is apparently the most powerful ventilation air pumping system in the world.

Just picked up from here, what’s supposed to be my normal order, but was not. Instead of the large hot n spicy shrimp, with 6extra shrimp, that I pay 80cents extra per shrimp, and fried rice I got a lunch order with 6shrimp total and a disgusting egg roll and was charged nearly $14.00 for. Dare I complain in person and get yelled at by the owners?

So I went there today because it was close to home and I hadn’t been there before. First the lady there is rude doesn’t even try to understand what your ordering which is sad since it’s their menu! I had to circle it and show her. I got beef and broccoli one of my fav chinese dishes. I normally go to Mang Wok in N. Ridgeville. I get home, i tried to eat it. I really tried but it tasted awful!! i couldn’t even eat it. I will make the drive to N. Ridgeville next time Mang Wok is so much better.

Decided to stop here for dinner to go on our way home. The lady who was taking our order clearly less than thrilled to be there. My daughter wanted rice noodles & the lady said she didn’t know what they were (shrugged) & talked her into lo mien noodles. Then, when I found what I wanted, it came with the rice noodles. She was just not nice, real short in the way she spoke, rolled her eyes when I said that the rice noodles that were in my order was what my daughter wanted. My noodle were not cooked all the way through & were cold in the middle.

The people who answered the phone were incredibly rude. I was told I was calling the wrong number repeatedly and when I asked for the correct number i was just told “no”. Then a man got on the phone and ask me , in a very hateful manner “what you want… don’t call back”… who does this? It was the number online for the restaurant and on the menu for the restaurant. Perhaps a language barrier? Not sure however, I’ll never order from there again. I heard how good their food was but they just killed my business.

Wonderful experience. We had a party of 11. Extensive menu of guality food. Like a personal chef 1 on 1. Large portions. Only drawback…you may get caught up in the experience and forget to take pics of the fun. Oh well, guess we have to go back again.
