Came in on Wednesday during an apparent wild game night. It was busy bar-side so we sat on the dining room side. It took quite some time before anyone greeted us so we went up to the bar to get our own drinks. The food took even longer, but luckily came out hot. The cheese curds were probably some of the best I’ve had in the area, but the personal pan pizza was not good at all. The sauce had an unmistakable skunked smell while it tasted somewhat bitter. I was worried about having to wait for a replacement dish so I ate half of it and left the rest and went back to my in-laws’ and snacked. I will be sure to try something other than the pizza next time. The rest of the family said their food was okay.

Updated 12/6: We went for dinner and arrived a little after 6:30. We were the only table in the dining room. We waited about 15 min before I saw a waitress across the room talking loudly about non work related things. She looked up from her notepad and smiled at me from across then room and turned walking out of the room. We waited another 10min in which we saw another waitress come up and grab something but then walk off before we finally left, which it was then 7:00. Very disappointing service. I rarely leave poor reviews but the fact that she saw me and smiled and then still did not come or send someone to serve us made it hard to have any positive intent about the situation.
Their roasted chicken is the best! Small town eatery and bar with good food and affordable prices. Friendly staff!

Great food definitely enjoyed the mark burger. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food you get. One waitress who did a well just busy all at once that made service little slower than I am sure it normally is

The broasted chicken there utterly fantastic!!! We bought some & took the rest home,like three pieces, & the next day the chicken tasted even better. Their potato wedges were fantastic also. The service there also was above & beyond super fantastic. Thanks!

Stopped on the way back from Minnesota where my hubby had a corrective oral surgery done. I hadn’t eaten all day and he had had soft food while recovering in office. We chose the fish special….it wasn’t that special. My fish was over and under cooked at the same time. His was as well but he isn’t allowed to bite hard foods so peeling the breading off isn’t unheard of. Cole slaw was excellent, baked potato was just right. The roll a tad under baked. The server WAS EXCELLENT!!!! She was awesome!! Can’t thank her enough…will we go back??? Not sure.

Great service! Friendly atmosphere. Lots of food for the price…homemade food not boxd or anything. Rack of ribs are AMAZING!! They fall right off the bone!! Fish is great as well. We will definitely go back!!

Was only there for a short time on a Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. Was greeted by the owner who bought me a shot of African Liquer. It’s your standard dive but with friendly faces and a giving atmosphere

The food is very good, especially the pizza. I give it a 9.8 on a scale 1 to 10. Sometimes I’ll eat their pizza 2 days in a row. Employees are very friendly

Stopped in for a drink while visiting Nora Springs for a sporting event. It was Cinco de Mayo-didn’t have any margarita mix!!!! Apparently only one bar staff knows how to make it. Our sever was on her phone so many times -by the time she asked us for a second drink-we had to go. Then waited about 10 more minutes for our bill and it wasn’t even busy. We won’t be back.
