I recently used Gotta Have It for an event catering order, and was really impressed! The bagels were absolutely beautiful, and tasted delicious. I also really appreciated all of the options for bagel flavours and cream cheese, specifically the french toast bagels (which can be hard to find sometime lol.) The staff was kind, communicative, and made sure that we were taken care of at every step of the process. Thank you, Gotta Have It team. 🙂 Everyone raved about these at our event!

First time visit. From the outside the place is unassuming and if not for the internet we would have never known it was there but I’m so glad we visited! We had a breakfast bagel sandwich (avocado, bacon, red onion, egg, garlic and chive cream cheese on jalapeño cheddar bagel) and it was PHENOMENAL. We also left with an assortment of bagels (blueberry, cranberry, everything, plain) and cream cheeses (salted caramel, scallion, and sweet honey) and ALL were fabulous. Fresh made daily in house. Service was very good. Definitely will be back!

I’ve been wanting to try this bagel place for over a year and finally found myself on this side of town. I got a spicy BLTA on a garlic bagel and ordered a half dozen to go for my family. I’ll order online for pickup next time. There was a little wait, which I expected from other reviews would happen so I didn’t mind.
It’s a small shop with REALLY good food! Even the lettuce on my BLT was impressive – fresh green leaf lettuce. Perfectly cooked bacon. The kind of food you don’t mind waiting for.
The bagel was so fresh. Crispy on the outside, a little chewy inside and the perfect amount of density. I really like bagels and have even made them at home – these are the best I’ve ever had.
The ones I took home for later saved really well so far. I put them in a ziplock on the counter and everyone loved them the next morning.
Will definitely order again!

As a person from New York I was excited to find a place that had freshly made bagels. Inside the gentleman working the counter was beyond professional and respectful.
I was very disappointed. The person at the counter was great, however a few things bothered me a lot.
1. No cash? I understand electronic records make your books easier to manage, but not being able to pay with actual money is ridiculous.
2.Hand rolled new york style bagels, with well above new york prices is outlandish.
I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and it cost 7.88. That is absolutely ridiculous. I will give credit that the bagel was soft and the bacon was cooked perfectly, the fried egg was overcooked. The sandwich should cost 4.50-5 at the most. Then I also ordered a poppy bagel toasted with cream cheese. The first bite I immediately knew the bagel was toasted, left out on the counter for several minutes and then less than an ounce of cream cheese. My total was 13.51 so that means the bagel with cream cheese was 5.63 which is insane a bagel with cream cheese 2-3 max.
Now yes I dont know the costs this business has to pay for resources but 13.51 without tax 12.25 for a bacon egg and cheese, and a bagel with cream cheese is absurd. They have the potential to be a great business as they are one of a kind in Jacksonville, but I was really disappointed.

I gave the food a 5 star bc the bagels were fresh, cream cheese delicious, and the breakfast BEC was a great size and tasted great. However the service was horrible, we were not greeted coming in or offered a thanks for coming in when we left. I had to literally ask for everything we needed (knife to spread, napkins, the coffee area had no creamer and when I asked for more they had none). We sat in to eat as it was our first time and I guess I had my hopes up that it would be a sweet little chill spot to enjoy breakfast. This town has a hard time keeping little spots like this open and customer service would be the reason I would not want to go back which is sad bc being from up north I love a good bagel. I hope this can be turned around and made to be more inviting even if just with a little decor and brighter attitudes.

Best bagels. Just like New York. Plus their bagels are 4oz. A good size bagel. Been to Giovanni bagels in Swansboro. Their bagels are smaller. But okay taste.
