So good! We got a chicken tostada, chips and guacamole, a steak torta, one pork taco, and one steak taco all for under $20.00. The chips were clearly homemade, the guacamole too. It was definitely fresh. The only thing that could’ve made this experience better was if they had tamales! Lol but that’s usually hard to come by. Absolutely amazing and now my favorite Mexican restaurant! (Please note that there were way more chips I just ate most of them before taking the picture)

Coming back from a quick trip to Elkton we looked for a Mexican restaurant. The reviews were great so we gave it a try. Wow.. delicious and so much for the price. Sorry I ate one taco before remembering to take a picture!

The “monster burrito” IS ACTUALLY 2 HUGE burritos…see the picture. The Chile Rellenos were wonderful. Only downside is bottled beverages…no fountain drinks and no diet coke…otherwise fantastic!!

Very friendly service. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Make sure you come *hungry.* The portions are great, especially for the price. I can usually finish a whole burrito, but this one defeated me (to be fair, I had chips with cheese and beans as an appetizer). The food was cooked fresh, and did not take very long to come out. Absolutely delicious, I highly recommend Chavelos!

Great little “hole in the wall” type of restaurant. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone past this place in the 30 years I’ve lived in this area and didn’t realize it was there! It’s a small cozy restaurant, with authentic Mexican cuisine. The employees are able to speak a little bit of English, enough so that you can order and they know what you’d like to have. Very friendly! Will definitely plan on going back. The food was very tasty and fresh
