What a charming place!!! We ate in the school bus and the food was amazing. Brisket was so good and the burgers and fries the macaroni and cheese was awesome too. The owners were really kind gracious people, we loved it a lot and will be back next time we are in San Isidro

My husband got the pulled pork and I got the brisket. Both were some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had; tender meat with delicious sauce. The owners are super friendly and gracious, and have created a cool little spot with a unique vibe that had us planning our next visit before we even left!

This has got to be one of the top restaurants in all of Pérez Zélédon. The food is amazing. If you have a craving for BBQ, you have to eat here. My family and I are visiting from Canada. In the three weeks of travel in the region, we ate here three times and have tasted everything on the menu. There are other good restaurants around, but none with as high a quality of food as Ribs on Fire. The burgers are so juicy and full of flavour, the smokiness in the ribs really stands out great and their bbq sauce in the pulled pork with their homemade coleslaw is to die for. I really like that there is a hint of ginger in the coleslaw. It gives the sandwich a whole other dimension.
The couple that owns the place are amazing people. They always greeted us with a big smile, behind their masks of course, even with some difficulties because of the language barrier. We are so glad that we have found this place during our trip in Costa Rica. We wish tons of success in the future!

This place is delicious! The pulled pork sandwich was the best I have ever had. The bun was even top notch. The brisket plate was just what you would expect – juicy and tender! The fries were hot and well seasoned.
The owner was attentive and very friendly.
I can’t wait to go back and try the ribs!

Great little local smoked meat restaurant (ribs, brisket, pork belly, and burgers). Nice unique ambiance. Reasonably priced, excellent service, attentive owners/hosts? We ate there three nights in a row during our five day stay in Perez Zeledon. Highly recommended!
