The newest revitalization of the old Bamboo Bamboo! Buffet is definitely on the mark. While smaller, with only about half the seating area, it’s scrupulously clean. There’s a good variety of Asian & blended Asian/American dishes, excellent quality and well-prepared on the Buffet. This is fine for lunch, atmosphere is a little “dinerette” but honestly, the food makes up for it. They do offer discounts, so the price is about what you’d expect, around $15.

Decided to try jade dragon buffet. To start when you walk in to be seated you pay first which for myself was a little unusual. I was nervous thinking I possibly just wasted money, also was a little more expensive than what I am used to paying for,my wife and I cost around $43.00. The selection of food was smaller than most places, but for what they had it was excellent was constantly being changed out and staying fresh everything tasted great they plates were being removed from the table in a very polite and timely fashion. Was constantly being asked by the servers if the food tasted good. Definitely worth the money will for sure be going back.

People say food is overpriced and you can get it for much cheaper at other buffets and that is correct. What they don’t mention is that when you pay $13 for buffet food elsewhere you get food that tastes like cardboard cutout versions of Jade Dragon. The food here is fresh, exceptional, mindfully sourced, and well worth the price. I haven’t found a place in the area that can compete with the quality and service. I will gladly pay the price everyday to enjoy such a deserving meal.

For new comers we were left at the check out. Didn’t know if we were to sit ourselves or not. So we asked. You sit yourself. It was a buffet. Food selections were awesome but wish food was a little more warmer( hot). Place is very clean to include restroom. You need a clean plate for each time you visit the buffet. Employees very polite and helpful.

We came on a Sunday afternoon, so I’m not sure about any other day of the week, but they had so many new things to try and my 3 yr old and I loved the frog legs and little plastic cubes of desserts! He even had two helpings of noodles! And I tried at least three things I had never had before at a Chinese buffet! Next time I’m going to try the fish head soup!!

Amazing food, even better atmosphere, 10/10 I am going back. Taking the family next time for sure, they have options for all ages and taste. Definitely a must try if you live in the Manhattan area!

I love buffets! I filled my 2 plates with little bits of main dish items and desserts and only disliked one item. (It was the big gelatinous dough ball with pork filling visible. Very unfamiliar seasonings and textures for me.) Favorites: walnut chicken, singapore rice noodles, and the light colored bubbly-looking pudding dessert (tapioca?-see image). Saw no flies as some have commented, although it’s starting to cool down due to the time of year. Also, there was enough variety that I got some veggies in and didn’t feel grossly-full by the end. Would definitely come again!

Almost all the food tastes like curry. Lacking in food options. The remodel is nice but doesn’t house as many people. The worst thing about this place is all the cold food is swarming with flies. One of the workers just scooped out the dead fly and gave it a stir after. We all know what happens when flys land on food…

Its $20 per person to get in but drink is included and its all you can eat! You can get a discount for being a K-State student or military. Food was amazing! They even had steamed buns! Best Chinese buffet i’ve ever been to and the pricing is great! I definitely look forward to going back!
