Surprisingly quiet restaurant, as well as super clean, love the hispanic aesthetic with the vibrant tables, chairs, and booths. The food our table got was delicious all around. Everything came out hot and the portions sizes are pretty good for the price. Only negative I can touch in was the attentiveness of the staff was low and unenthusiastic considering we were the only table sat in the whole restaurant during my visit.

I was here on a night when there was a county fair so it was almost empty. I got to speak to the owner for some time. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, the food is fantastic, and staff is friendly and helpful. I Would love for this restaurant to succeed. The owner said they have been open for a couple of years.
And he has done a wonderful job with the atmosphere in food.

I came for the first time on a Monday at at 3:30 p.m. I really wanted a margarita. The sign the door said we’ll be back 20 to 30 minutes. I waited 30 minutes. Lights are on open signs on nobody showed up. Decorations through the door look amazing. In but not as far as I got the front door. Stopped in again at 4:30. Lights on open sign on. 2 weeks later stop in again to try and have a drink and guess what closed again!

We were not happy. Our server did not want to be there and really rushed us. He had a really negative personality and didn’t smile once. The decorations were nice. Like something you’d find at a cruise port in Mexico. The food tasted good, but they were a little chinty on the sauces… it definitely wasn’t flooded in cheese sauce like the picture. It’s still tasted nice. The drinks, however, are what got me upset. They charged $12 for a margarita that was clearly premixed. I got an immediate headache after my first margarita from the bottom shelf tequila and crappy pure sugar mixer. That thing wasn’t worth more than $3 and they tasted pretty terrible. Like sewer water and fruit flavoring. For two meals and two drinks, we paid $60! I thought that was absolutely insane because it was nothing special at all. Crappy service, subpar food, and bottom shelf liquor. It even took a while to get our margaritas because he had just turned the machines on for the day.. We were there at 12:15 p.m. on a Sunday. To be fair, there really wasn’t anybody there.. And now I know why! Go at your own risk. Not authentic at all. If you’re not looking for authentic, you’d be way better off at hacienda. If you’re looking for authentic, go elsewhere! I suggest El Camino off Cassopolis and 6 for their real fruit margaritas that leave you feeling great!

Just moved to Elkhart and decided to try this place out.
Walking in we are asked for table or booth, we said booth, they took us the two tables before we finally got to a booth that was dirty. (Couldn’t speak very much English) No biggie.
Order some margaritas, I stated I wanted a raspberry margarita on the rocks, then they recommended a strawberry mango, failed to mention it was frozen. They ended up replacing it with a raspberry on the rocks. No biggie no harm no foul.
We ordered queso for $6.99 and you could tell that it was watered down tremendously and microwaved. Had zero flavor. There’s salsa had zero flavor other than salt.
We ordered the three taco meal and some chicken patty meal with queso over the top.
The chicken was most literally the driest chicken we have ever encountered. The steak tacos you could tell was not new meat but did have a good amount of flavor. I will say one thing they definitely know how to cook the corn tortillas thank god!
Rice and beans were good.

Not saying I’m not going to go back and try again, but I’m definitely going to try other locations before going back.

Plenty of potential just need to get things right.

The food was SPECTACULAR! 5/5 ⭐️

The customer service was superb. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so clean, fresh, & up to date. My food was fresh, hot, & FAST. The owner even included a free chips & salsa in my to-go bag! I also love that they’re open so late. I would highly recommend this place. This is definitely my new Mexican food spot!

The food was amazing! The enchiladas I had there were some of the best I have ever eaten. It was very quiet and the decor was beautiful. Everything came very quickly and our server was very polite. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing food and margaritas! The inside is beautiful and covered in art. Our server was excellent, with a sense of humor who did not lead us astray with our food and drink choices. We have lived in Texas and New Mexico but this is some of the best Mexican food we have ever had. Elkhart has a hidden gem.

This was my first visit, salsa and beans very good, I got fajitas they were cooked well but didn’t have a lot of seasoning and I thought the portion size was a little bit small, got a draft beer, got a short pour because it had too much head on it and I thought $9 for a draft was a little too expensive. All in all it was okay but there’s other places I like better.

Our second time there, since our 1st was shortly after they opened and things were not right. Wanted to give a fair chance before reviewing. Unfortunately, we should’ve never gone back. While the service improved slightly, nothing else changed. In fact, it was worse. $113.00 for 3 people to have lunch, that wasn’t right(AGAIN), is Ludacris! Our Daughter had 2 VIRGIN Pina Coladas and we were charged full price. The margaritas were filled with so much ice we got 5 drinks out of 32oz! My food was not prepared to menu description so i returned it and asked it be removed from the bill-it was removed but not before staff came out to ask why it wasnt right…the plate can be compared to the menu to see how wrong it was! With prices like theirs, you would assume the food/experience would be amazing..Sadly, not the scenario. The food is mediocre, at best. Simply not a good experience!
