Had amazing tenderloins here with my Mom (who is 93). This is a genuine small town bar and grill. Looks like it must be a very popular place evenings and weekends. There is a ramp from the gravel parking lot to the entry door. The ladies room is nice!

Nice spot, very clean and warm. Friendly staff and patrons, good food and prices. Great spot to go for something different, will have to go back more often.
Edit: Stopped here for a quick bite to eat last night (10/21/20) and while I always have a great time and I always enjoy my meal here when I get one but tonight I was particularly Impressed. We tried the tenderloin or rather my gf did, she is a tenderloin fanatic. I like them but they are not usually my go to sandwich. We were both blown away by how good it was! Around here you hear the phrase “best tenderloin” alot, but these folks might actually have it! Not only is the taste good and the home breading is perfect, but they are huge! Not just pounded flat huge, they have alot of meat in them and are still nice and thick.

This is NOT a grill. They do not serve food. There isn’t a sign to tell you it’s the place. Smells like stale cigarettes and old stale beer. Don’t walk in unless your a local.. you WILL be stared down. The lady tending bar was very helpful..

It’s a small town bar plain and simple. It comes complete with those who appear to be the afternoon regulars, colorful language and stories, and some that get excited about out of state visitors. Tenderloin sandwich is as pictured in other reviews.

After driving for what seemed like days, the hunger pains started with a vengeance. So what would any hungry traveler do, google search! That’s how we stumbled across this hidden gem. We pull in the parking lot full of a variety of 4 wheelers, side by sides and tractors. We get out and are greeted by shirtless locals. We proceed to the door and wonder what awaits us inside, our stomachs are too persistent so we go in. We walk in and the place goes quiet, all eyes on us as we head to the nearest table. We take our seats and admire the various decorations that would satisfy a wide variety of tastes. As we wait for our waitress to stop by, someone at the bar says “they look like undercover agents” as our lovely waitress chugs a beer and heads over to our table another bar patron says, “what’s that on his wrist?” a lady replies “must be on of them smart watches.” We ask our waitress for a menu and she pointed us to the artwork on the wall. We order our meals and she heads back to the bar for another beer. Now this was a perfect time for a bathroom break I thought. I head to the restroom while admiring the decorations of grafiti drop ceiling tiles, various neon signs, exposed wires and so on. I get to the bathroom and go to close the door, well to help with ventilation I guess, the door does not close and part of the door is missing, allowing you to maintain a conversation with the closest table. Everyone knows that good conversations include good eye contact, hence the hole in the door. Hurry up and head back to the table awaiting our lovely meals delivered on fancy paper plates. We can’t wait to enjoy our chicken sandwiches and take a sip of our organic water(probably from a 1883 well. Side not( order a coke or beer like the waitress, Can’t let her drink them all) We finish our food and to our surprise it was fantastic. The table next to the bathroom shouts out ” I like big wieners” and some yell in agreement, (guess that hole in the door was bigger than I thought. Make sure you bring cash as they do not want you to get your credit card scammed, so they got rid of the machines and don’t bother asking for a hybrid or electric vehicle charger port. As far as a tractor parking, they got you covered. We pay our bill and toss in a nice tip and proceed to leave forever ingrained in our memory that we have been to Rome’s Hot spot and will never forget it!
