Found this place, it’s been open for a minute or two. 1989 I believe. Anyways says really good gorditas, and just didn’t feel it, the best one I ate was chile con queso but it was just okay, the wife had a shredded beef one that was not even close to delicious, not sure but that one was bad. The other one I ate was Chicharron Verde, it was just okay also. It was busy so not sure if we were needed the correct items, because of how busy it was. The wife had Tacos also they were gone first. Not sure which ones, meat with se, she ordered. Asada maybe. Might try breakfast here maybe.

Wow! Right when we walked in we were greeted with the friendliest smile and conversation. The barbacoa tacos and the gorditas were insanely good! Highly recommend!

This place is great, the real Mexican food. Service since you enter the restaurant is outstanding, the waitress understood exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier with my food. On rush lunch time it was still was quick.
Definitely recommend this place.

Nice little place serving simple but tasty food. Had a few gorditas for my first try. The adobado and picadillo rojo were both really good ill. I’ll be coming back to try some more things!

Echoing what other reviewers have said- delicious food and friendly service! Our family loved our meal here- we had a variety of tacos and quesadillas. The green salsa is fantastic on everything. Definitely worth stopping here, don’t hesitate!

First timer here
They seemed busy, which means it must be good.
We did have small wait to be seated.
Food was good, the menudo especially.
The menudo is made with hominy
Which is the way my mom does it. But many places don’t serve with hominy. I was stunned and really glad I got it.
We will be back for sure
Server was attentive.

As soon as we stepped inside we knew we were at the right place. It smells fantastic as soon as you open the door. The place was very clean. Every employee was very welcoming. The waitress was super helpful and intimately familiar with everything they have to offer. I tried all four of their available tacos. Full of flavor and absolutely delicious. My wife had a chicken and the pork, nopales and red sauce burrito. The burrito was ridiculously delicious. The manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was satisfactory. When we were done eating, the waitress made sure to ask how everything was. She was also proud to explain to us everything was scratch made in-house. From the tortillas to the mole, everything from scratch. You can definitely tell the place is a mom & pop shop. Trust me, get the barbacoa tacos. You won’t be sorry.

The portions were good. I enjoyed the burritos: asada y frijoles and nopales con pico de gallo. I have to come back on the weekend to try their menudo.

The recommendation from RC at Gomez boot store off of I-240 was truly excellent. The experience was delightful and very authentic; I will certainly return and encourage others to visit.

On vacation, passing through on our way to Tulsa, OK. We love Mexican food so looked up some local spots and this came highly recommended. I had 2 steak tacos and 2 carnitas tacos. My wife had a beef Burrito. Steak was awesome. Pork seemed cooked a little too long for my taste. All in all, food was good. We did have a 10 minute wait but we didn’t mind that. Staff was great as well. No complaints on the service.
