How is it possible one of the best BBQ places is hidden in mid western Pennsylvania?! After driving by many weeks following hockey practices my family finally decided to stop in and see what Big Andy’s had to offer a few weeks ago. We were immediately greeted. Their menu is easy to read and offers a variety for everyone. I chose the burg sandwich which has pulled pork topped with amazing fresh cut fries and an amazing homemade coleslaw. My husband and son opted for wings and a side of sloppy fries. If you love wings you won’t be disappointed with Big Andy’s. They are full size wings and the season salt that my son got was a delicious blend of sweet and spice. I can’t remember the flavor my husband got but he said they were equally as delicious! The sloppy fires are definitely our favorite item tho, and a go to item whenever we stop by! Fresh cut fries topped with some of the most amazing melt in your mouth pulled pork I have ever tasted drizzled in delicious BBQ sauce and cheese. With amazing food, reasonable prices, and great service I highly recommend stopping in and supporting this local business.

Very good barbecue for the price. Extremely large portions, great sweet barbecue sauce. I had the sloppy fries and a quarter pound pulled pork sandwich…To die for. If your in the area and craving lunch, this is the spot to go for barbecue.

There is a kids menu. The food is exceptional. The sloppy fries are a unique, delicious twist that I highly recommend. You have to try Big Andy’s Fat Back Barbeque!! You won’t be disappointed!

Pretty decent wings and pulled pork. Pretty skimpy on the fries but they were great. Prices seemed a bit high for the portions. Would probably come back since there is nothing like it anywhere around here.

An excellent BBQ joint that far exceeded my expectations. The Flaming Porker was one of the best sandwiches of ANY kind that I’ve had in quite some time. Friendly owner & staff to boot.

Turn back now! This place has no idea what real BBQ looks or tastes like. Ordered 3 different types of BBQ sandwiches and not one sandwich had fresh barbecued meat or vegetables on them. All were horribly greasy and extremely small. BBQ Brisket and all BBQ, is an art form, this guy should have stuck with being a short order cook at a diner. At $9 a sandwich, zero customer service, and a dirty interior–not sure how this guy is even able to stay in business. YIKES!!!

Pulled pork decent had da burg sandwich
Couldve used more fries. Lacking barby sauce probly shouldve asked for extra.
Not really friendly bunch. Atleast take the mechanics tool chest out of the kitchen.
Need more out door tables. Decent food tho

Last year, I spent 4 weeks in Houston, and really developed my taste for BBQ. These polite and humble guys at Big Andy’s make the best I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely outstanding.

I grew up in Texas and this place makes me home sick. The pulled pork and sloppy fries are the best! Another thing, all you Yankees wanting that hamm BBQ crap will have to find another place.
