This is a classic neighborhood dive bar. Outstanding people, outstanding cold beer, and outstanding service. They will know me as “Ginger Jersey” if you ask around. The pull tabs are hot, the music will help you turn the page, and bartenders will have your favorite drink ready in seconds. Try the Jack and Ginger! It’s a house special and one will not be enough. If it’s playing Euchre in the back corner, watching the Colts run out of Luck again, or catch up with friends. This is the place to visit when you are in Kokomo. Our family loved it, the locals are very friendly, and the space is just cozy enough that after an hour you will know everybody in place. Just go!

Great little dive bar, with some of the best bartenders in Kokomo! Once you’ve been there a few times it’s kind of like walking into Cheers (everyone knows your name), and if you tend to drink the same thing good chances the bartender already knows what you’re drinking.

Small but personable. They have an outside area partitioned off with a small heater for the comfort of their smoking clientele. Very friendly bartenders and comfortable atmosphere. Gotta love the regulars…they often show up with food!! Bert and John’s is one of the oldest bars in town but with a diverse group of people everyone feels welcome.

Saturday Jan 28th 2023, a total of 10 had planned to come in for a couple drinks , after our family dinner . At 7:07 pm we were informed by my husband not to come! He arrived first. He had ordered a beer gave bartender 20$ she gave back 7.50$ he went ahead an gave her 2.50$ tip so a beer for 15$ ! Just think your business lost our business due to your bartender’s actions. She herself also lost money! Because I can guarantee she would have made killer tips ! If she don’t remember he sat down by the window at entrance. I am the lady that came in to pick him up an did not order anything….

This is my favorite hole-in-the-wall. Drinks are cheap and the bar is VERY cozy. Be warned though, they don’t have beer on tap. The bar selection is full, the bartender is always friendly, and you usually get to pick your own music.

This is not a huge place but it atmosphere is big enough to remember. It is an enjoyable place to have a drink with friends and do some catching up. Everyone seems to be decent people that I have met there. Come on in and enjoy your night.
