Bring cash! No cards accepted here, but we always have cash. We’re old. We stopped at the recommendation of the nice lady at Holly River State Park. Breakfast was quick and fantastic. Large helping at ridiculously great prices. Homemade hash browns!! The ladies working were great.

You need to stop here. For one, there are not a lot of places to eat out. Two, because the food is good and fresh. Third, the staff is super friendly.
The restaurant may need a little updating, but honestly, that is its only flaw. The bathroom is not handicap ready, but I always look at that.

I’ve stopped here just about every weekend of 2024 on the way home from out of town work and it’s the best diner in the state of WV. I work all over the state in just about every county and no other diner is as good. Home made fresh pies, every diner has those, but these were the best pies I’ve ever had. Dinner was always good. The ladies working there are always so kind and recognized me every time I came in for dinner.

Had a wonderful lunch here after a hike at Holly River State Park. Staff were very kind and the food came out quick and delicious. The entire experience was topped off by a slice of homemade apple pie. I hadn’t been to this diner for over 30 years, but it was just as I had remembered it.

We go out of our way to stop in for breakfast. The two ladies that run the place just pick on the locals like crazy. Food is good priced right. Didn’t take long and we were getting picked on just like we are part of the family. Just an all around fun place to stop. We will go back!

Stopped on our last night of vacation. Staff were extremely nice and the food was awesome. Great size to the servings. Got the meatloaf and left stuffed. Even sent us hone with fresh pie. Highly recommend.
