Owner tried to overcharge me, I showed him the menu and was told it was “outdated” – who’s fault is that? Then was charged a credit card fee which was not described or indicated anywhere. Owner tacked that on to my food, not a separate fee. Owner started cussing at me when I called him out on that, told me to not come back (no worries there). Shrimp burrito had very little taste, filled with tasteless salad and rice. There were enough shrimp, but very little taste. I had to ask for the complimentary chips & salsa, got very little salsa, asked for more but was ignored. Poor service, awful management. When a restaurant can’t keep up on menu prices and the owner cusses you out for calling him out for cheating you, you should consider eating elsewhere. Casa Oaxaca is FAR better in every catagory and more than worth the short extra drive.

I took a chance trying a restaurant in town that would be new to me. I was originally looking for the place next door but I chose Mexico Chiquito instead. I ordered tacos carne asada, a few minutes later I was told that the Carne asada wasn’t good and that she wouldn’t serve it. One of the specialty dishes was a beef stew. She used the beef stew in the tacos, they gave me a little bit of broth to dip my tacos in. This was the best Mexican food I have ever had. They’re very kind, their food is amazing. If you get the chance to try it, please do!

This has become our family’s #1 go-to neighborhood restaurant. The owners are incredibly warm and gracious and the food is phenomenal. Also appreciate that the prices are reasonable and portions are great. Such a wonderful addition to the local food scene. Highly recommend.

I visited family in Roxboro, stopped by to check the place out. 4 different meals in 2 different ocassions. Fantastic food! Very comfortable vibe, very welcoming personnel! Higly recommend the Birria( Beef broth in soft spices) and Pozole( Pork broth in soft spices) dishes! Add hot spice to your liking!
