Great service, just not a good burger. It’s unfortunate because they seem to be using high quality ingredients. The toppings were nice and I saw Pat LaFreida patties and Martin’s Potato Rolls for buns. So why was the food not good?

Firstly, the meat probably had good potential, especially if it was Pat LaFreida. However, it was extremely overcooked. There was no juice whatsoever and all of the fat had been rendered off, so it was not a good flavor. The patty was overdone, instead of an ideal medium or even juicier medium rare.

Next, the buns were not toasted. Martin’s Potato Rolls are arguably some of the best hamburger rolls/buns. But they need a solid toast with butter to bring out their flavor. Furthermore, an untoasted bun just get’s soggy (when the meat is cooked properly).

Then there’s the cheese. It’s a classic white American. I would have appreciated a yellow American option, as it makes for a more balanced flavor. White American is very sticky and salty, which I find not very pleasant. Yellow American seems to be the more traditional cheeseburger cheese, so that option would be much better.

Finally, the price. The basic burger, running $8 with lettuce, tomato, and raw onion is a fair price assuming the meat is cooked properly, juicy and flavorful. But then the “Beach Classic” burger, which comes with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and pickles, runs $10.50. $2.50 more for just pickles?? I asked for a side of pickles and put them on myself, which did not cost anything extra.

All things considered, I see the potential with Burger Boyzz. Though, until they stop overcooking the patties and start toasting the buns with butter, I wouldn’t go back again.

While waiting, one of the owners family members, Johnny, started chatting it up with me (Jon) and another John lol.

Their first yr here, NICE staff, family owned, great menu, and decent prices! We were on our way to the pizza place next door but saw the line was really long and thought we could use a burger tonight. We’re glad we did and wish them nothing but the best and a long future here!

Everything is cooked and made fresh, so YES, theres a slight wait but youll wait longer at the popular spots dont forget 😉

Johnny – nice meeting you buddy and good luck!

Burgers were decent, but not enough for the price. No free refills, trash cans overflowing, tables need to be wiped down. Manager decided to change what was included on the menu without editing the screen. Overall it was ok, but nothing special. The tap water tasted very very wrong. Not impressed

The cheesesteak artistry of Big Mike, combined with the friendly service, and the ambiance of the OC boardwalk produced one of the finest cheesesteaks on the planet. In Colorado, we have the “green chile Philly” – a fusion of a cheesesteak and the famous Pueblo chiles we grow at our longitude. But it pales in comparison to the steak Mike crafted for me with cheese, onions and cherry peppers, all on a locally sourced roll and grilled to perfection. Even the presentation of the cheesesteak was so good, we had to photograph it.

The grilled cheese my daughter ordered, parmesan fries, and bay fries were also top shelf. This cheesesteak single-handedly lifted my spirits after a long day on the beach and in the ocean. There is no other place in all of Ocean City worthy of ordering a cheesesteak. Take the time to hit the boardwalk, find Burger Boyz and ask for Big Mike on the grill.

Went here with my family Sunday night 9/20/25. Service was great . Hostess was extremely friendly and helpful especially with the youngsters. Counter was clean as well as the seats there.
Had one smash burger that was delicious. Asked for pickles instead of red onion. No problem and the burger was great. Wrapped nicely and put in a paper bag if we wanted to take it with us but we stayed at counter.
I also ordered the Battersea Burger. This burger was the best burger I ever had. I got it just as described and it didn’t disappoint. Great burger. Fries were plentiful and not the least bit greasy… All in all for small burger place on the boardwalk you will be pleasantly surprised and impressed. Keep up the nice work.

So pleased this franchise has come to OC, and with the exit of hamburger construction on the boardwalk the future Burger Boyzz location in 2025 will be welcomed. This is a new location still learning so I fully expect they will improve beyond three stars in the future.

So some feedback. First the kids. The Mac and cheese is nothing special and offered little to no flavor. Highly recommend that something be done to make this your own. If it’s homemade an oven should be involved. Not just cheese sauce on pasta.

The burgers were good and appropriately priced. I would suggest either a $1 chip option or just raise the price to offer bag or house chips with all entrees. The only thing on the sandwich that needs improvement is sadly the burger itself. As the store seeks to draw a five guys or smash burger vibe, you cannot just throw a pre-formed patty from your food supplier on the grill. Consider legit ground chuck. Given the quality of the standard burger I am not eager to try a filet mignon patty at an up charge and a well done temperature. That being said the toppings and bun were high quality. So just sync these up and you will live up to the franchise name. For reference we as both the Ocean Blue and Asbury Juke.

Onion rings were also top notch.

Kudos to the owner for adding porkroll to menu. Highly recommend you highlight that more given the local draw.

We will try the dessert next time but overall not quite the $16-25 burger joint we were hoping for.

This new burger spot in Ocean City on 10 & Asbury is a must try. The Milkshake was amazing. I love French Fries so I had to order all types (waffle, curly, and sweet potato fries)

Had a great experience! They had a great deal on buffalo tenders and fries that caught our eye and they turned out to be amazing. Definitely will be a spot we come back to.

I got a shark attack burger and a small order of pier fries. My burger was burnt, the egg was overcooked, and the fries just tasted like regular fries that needed more salt. This all may sound average for boardwalk food, but having spent $30 on it and waiting a while, I was expecting better. especially after seeing the pictures on their website and seeing all the good reviews. I feel like I could have gotten the same quality food for half the price. Should have saved my money and gone to mcdonald’s

FINALLY!! A delicious burger on the boardwalk. My family has been on the hunt for a good burger since Hamburger Construction left us. This place is the winner. The wait is a little longer than the average walk up places on the boardwalk but it’s because everything is being made FRESH. It’s totally work the wait. The juice was rolling down my arm after the first bite and I knew we were in for a treat. I didn’t even want to ruin the taste with my normal condiments. I can’t wait to try all of the concoctions.
