EDIT TO RESPOND:: so your saying it’s Uber Eats fault that the food was greasy, burnt, hard, stale etc etc?? Makes sense.
Absolutely horrible. We travel frequently and order out what has good reviews near us. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Everything was burnt, covered is dipping oil and grease. No napkins. No utensils. The egg rolls falling apart. My son almost broke his took on the chicken. Tator tots were burnt but not hard bc it had so much oil. So many choice in this area. Do not go here

Stopped in for a quick Sunday dinner. Really quick parking and seating. Our server Kate was very helpful in recommending cocktails and food, and she didn’t go wrong pushing the Cuban. I also got the double stack burger with thousand island and death tots, topped with jalapeño queso and pulled pork. I love some crispy tots and these hit the spot! Big portions too. We sat outside which was beautiful, however the interior could use a refresh. Creaky wood floors, cheap paint and old bathrooms make this place feel like a dive bar without any good dive bar charm. I’m definitely coming back to try the tacos.

It’s a very cute, tucked away restaurant. I came around 3 PM on a Tuesday and it was relatively empty. The service was excellent. I ordered my food to go. There was no wait and the food was piping hot when I got it. The hostess/server was extremely nice, warm spirited for sure. I didn’t care for my sandwich too much, although I was definitely trying something outside of my comfort zone. There’s lots of menu items so I’d be willing to try them again and sticking to a type of food that I normally eat. The tater tots were good. Overall, it wasn’t bad and the vibes are cute. There’s also a bar if you want to drink and plenty of tables to seat people in groups. With a better food option, this would’ve been a great experience but that was my bad! A local (to my knowledge) worth giving a try!

One of my favorite things about visiting family in Georgia is the incredible food they introduce us to! I love how fresh and flavorful everything is at Dakota Blue! The service was friendly, warm and fast. The jalapeno and cheese grits are so yummy and were great for covering my burrito! I was a little surprised to find the spinach was fresh in my St. Augustine and appreciate the culinary license there! I am looking forward to my next trip to ATL so I can have those INCREDIBLE home fries again, gosh were those the best potatoes I’ve every had. 10/10 recommend!

Update 8/2/25: we recently went here for dinner and the dining area was very dirty. There were lots of flies and gnats and the sodas were all very flat and lukewarm. Customer service was great otherwise.
The food never disappoints and I love their specials! The pork belly taco is the best I’ve ever had. A great local place and as a family of 3 our bill can easily be under $50 for 3 entrees, fountain drinks, and leftovers

Honey chipotle wings were excellent. I asked for them extra crispy and that’s exactly how they came. Tasty sauce. Also had a burger and nachos (huge portion!). Excellent charming environment. Currently visiting Atlanta from FL and glad I came upon this little spot after an afternoon at the zoo, which is nearby. Service was also excellent, friendly and attentive. I’ll return next time I visit!

We visited on Halloween which was bustling and cheerful. I’m assuming we were ignored upon entry because it was so busy. We were eventually acknowledged and seated. Our server was friendly. The food was better than good. I could see myself having nachos there again.

Stopped in on Dec 6th.
We’re from out of town, in Atlanta for a day trip.
We stopped in about 1:30ish pm.
They weren’t busy at all. Three other tables were there before us and left shortly after we arrived. The small bar was full.
We sat in the corner, at the table under the TV.
Drinks were good. Food was good. However, the lack of service and wait time was crazy! Thankfully we wasn’t in a hurry or any kind and had time to kill.
We ordered the death hash and chicken tenders.
The tenders were so hot, we had to let them sit for almost and hour before eating them.
We had, what we are sure was a customer come ask after going to the bathroom if we were good and needed anything. To which we politely told him drinks would be nice. And our waiter came back with drinks like 10 minutes later.
We got the vibe it’s a local spot and felt kind like we were an inconvenience almost. We also didn’t realize that they have three different menus and serve those at set times! Cute place but the vibe really felt like locals only due to the small bar.

We arrived for lunch around 11:20 on a Tuesday and ordered a Cuban sandwich and grilled cheese sandwich and tater tots. We also had the chips and queso. We enjoyed both. They have a ton of burger toppings available. I asked for an extra crispy grilled cheese and tots and it all came out delightfully crispy. Great job by both our server and cook; they listened and nailed it! The place has a nice vibe and ample seating. Staff were friendly, courteous, attentive, and helpful. I’ll be happy to go back.
