Starting with the environment it’s small town dinner feel is on point. Showcasing the history of the Brubaker prison and theme takes you back in time. The food was amazing, home cooking taste and feel. The drinks, Apple Cider Slushies are the golden ticket. Arla, she is the owner and I have to say she is the sweetest! She was the front and center of the show, her vibe, her hospitality and desire to create such a special experience. She sat with my wife and I after we finished our meal (she stayed open and made us feel right at home) talked with us about the history of her venue and how she got started. Apples by Arla are the best apple deserts! To say the least I hope this diner gets all the love and attention from communities and tourists as a must have staple for the Junction City area.

This place just gets better and better. My hubby and I have been to breakfast a couple times. And that alone is worth several returns. Absolute YUM. I always get the large portion of the French toast so I have extra to take to work.
So we went last nite to the first event of “Music Bingo” what a blast!! We relived our 80’s with smiles, fond memories and not so fond memories lol. All in all it was lots of laughs and they have these $5 cocktails that are delicious. Can’t wait for the next bingo nite!!! Bravo to all. And FYI the service is A++

Go to Kroger. Get lunch meat and bread. Chop it in a bowl. Put in microwave. Enjoy! How does a “tavern” not have a normal cheeseburger. Dont waste your time here.

My husband enjoyed sausage gravy ober home fries and eggs with toast. Very good breakfast! I had the half-order open-faced reuben sandwich with steak fries. It was good, as well, and plenty of food. Friendly and clean.
