Went in with 2 children. After being out in the hot sun at the park all day, our waitress was very attentive. Lovely girl don’t remember her name. Burgers were delicious. We will be back next time we are in Sterling

Clean, well organized, and reasonably good food. Service was weird, but not bad. The server handed us our menus, took our drink order and then asked us if we wanted to start with any appetizers. None of us had looked at the menu yet… we all looked a little taken aback. What’s the rush? Also, rule #1: Never let someone’s beer get completely empty before asking if they would like another. Rule #2: never bring the check before asking if the customer would like anything else. Rule #3: Always ask if the customer if they would like a to-go container. Don’t make them chase you down for it.
Food? The fries were great. The beer was cold, the chicken sandwich, hot dog and Caesar wrap were all decent. No complaints – all good enough. Remarkable: Excellent quality Caesar dressing.

Service was great, food was done quickly. Cheese curd appetizer seemed overpriced for the amount of curds we got. The horseshoe burger is a bit overrated. Burger was bland, and the Texas toast underneath wasn’t even toasted, so it was just soggy grey colored bread from the patty resting on it. Fries and tots were well seasoned, and the chicken strips were decent. Would probably just try something else on the menu if I go again.

Just me and the wifey out on a Saturday looking for a new place to dine locally and came upon this place. For cocktails my wife had a cherry Bomb blonde beer. And I had a short jack and coke. Surprisingly the draft beer never came with cherries. But when asked are waitress delivered with a whopping 4 of them… My wife was extremely happy! The cherries just add to make that draft beer taste great . The jack And coke was made perfect. I do like mine a little stronger but honestly the drink was made perfectly for the average. Great blend of whiskey and soda for sure! For dinner I had the Patty melt with tater tots. Everything was great!Their homemade seasoning is amazing! My wife had the BLT. I consider my wife to be a BLT expert ha ha… To date she rates this one of the best . Most BLT’s lack bacon for sure, Not this one! Plenty of bacon . The waitress was great!! The place was clean the atmosphere was good. Thank you T’s for feeding us. We will be back for that big pretzel.

The food is always good, but the wait staff are do not pay attention well enough. I took with my son because we like the Mac & cheese they make. It was 815pm and it was not busy, but the staff were busy shutting things down instead of caring diligently about the two new tables, few at bar and couple in the game room.

I have always found this place pretty small. Now I see why people do carryout. It’s a hit or miss with service. Thank goodness the younger dark hair girl left and an older woman took over because the young girl sucked. She was even busy behind the bar on her phone. Since you can get decent service and food is good I’ll keep going back. Once the service sucks all the time I won’t be back no matter how good the food is. Also the young girl didn’t think extra napkins and some app plates for a giant pretzel and 2 baskets of apps was needed… 4 adults and 2 toddlers… I think so.

This is by far the best bar and grill in all of Sterling Illinois if you’ve never been here or have been thinking about it well I tell you now stop by drop in have an amazing experience then roll out with a wonderful buzz and possibly new friends and lovable food made by two great chefs I assume the owner along with my father T’s Time Out Grill Bros

Great Wisconsin style menu. Great service. Great atmosphere, including Sunday football with multiple tv’s available to watch. Dart board. Nice beer selection. Overall, it is a hidden gem.
