Cute little place on the historic Woodstock Square. I had a phenomenal lobster roll and a bowl of lobster bisque. The sandwich was so fresh with huge chunks of lobster. I like their version because it had no mayo or fillers, just delicious lobster. The bisque was one of the best I’ve ever had. My companion had the Monte Cristo sandwich and really enjoyed it. The pastries in the case looked great and we will definitely be back for pastry and coffee soon. Great service and cure atmosphere.

We were very lucky to wander past this establishment while walking around downtown Woodstock. We had delicious berry pastries paired with incredible French hot chocolates that came with a side of the chocolate that was used to make it. The service was incredibly kind and genuine as they checked back multiple times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and if they could make our experience any better. I will happily come back next time I’m in town and you should too!

Happened to be in Woodstock today and stopped in for lunch. I had the French Dip, and my wife had the Chicken Salad sandwich, and let me tell you, everything was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend visiting, i know we’ll be back!

Overpriced for the quality of food. Service was slow for the order. The croissants are not real croissants, and mine was hot outside but cold inside, likely heated in a microwave. Served in a plate with chocolate garnish and some sort of cheese crumbles (? Parmesan cheese) which smelled rancid. The crème brûlée was okay. Table had some crumbs before seating, and the are covered with a plastic layer. Music was a generic French playlist (think Ratatouille) and the ambient is somewhat dated. I had great crepes earlier the same day at another restaurant in the city center. Much closer to a real French patisserie.

Wow what great prices. (NOT) $18.50 for a breakfast sandwich. No drink, no side. McDonald’s has 2 for $6.00. = 6 breakfast sandwiches for $18.00 not 1 for $18.50 obviously due to the high rent district on the square. It’s no wonder it’s a revolving door with restaurants on the square. Tourist prices, not average joe prices. Get better prices for similar items in Nashville!!!! But I’m sure the food is wonderful. But for that price they should feed me. Go in here with three people and buy the food and drinks and you can basically buy groceries for a week at Aldi grocery store with your total bill!!!!! That is beyond crazy!! Nice profit margin like Popcorn!!! Should offer a punch card for a free sandwich after so many. That would take some of the pain away.

My wife and I stopped in here to check out the pastry selections. We were greeted by a kind gentleman behind the counter. We both grabbed a pastry, Apple Fritter for her and a Cream puff for me. Cream puff made me cream puff in my pants. One of the best I’ve had. Will be back.

We stopped at La Vie en Rose first for brunch. We tried a savory bacon scone. I skipped the coffee as the only sugar-free sweetener they had was stevia (I know some people swear by it, but I find it vile). We also tried a cup of their tomato bisque – loved it. We chatted with some of the staff, and he told us of their Italian deli down the block. We will be back for the extensive sandwiches.

I thought the sandwich was Way overpriced, until I got it. I expected a store bought sized croissant. It was the size of a small football. The sandwich was delicious. $33.50 for a sandwich a side and coffee for one person. I would recommend splitting the sandwich because I could not eat it all.
As a marketing and brand reputation professional for over 30 years, I might suggest being more diplomatic in your reviews responses instead of flat out arguing with customers. It will go along way and give clients the feeling that you care about them and their happiness vs being right. I’ll be in again soon.
