Food not great. First time dine in today. Lady in pizza station was rude. We asked for a tray since our first time but she got an attitude. Dont work in a food place if u dont know how to be nice and cater customer. Looks like that place is a un happy place for the worker.

Staff were nice. Food options are odd. Very few hot fresh options.

For dinner there was a salad bar and some premade sandwiches. I had a premade wrap. It made me sad, but I needed nutrients so I ate it. I supplemented with a too sweet potato salad and some prepacked cookies and chips. The last two were name brand and at least predicable vending machine food. There are a few vending machines nearby and in other hallways.

Breakfast was basically mediocre hotel continental breakfast. Luckily it’s hard to mess up an English muffin and oatmeal too badly. Yogurt fruit parfait stuff was good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and some kind of meat potato mush were also available. Eggs were dry from being open to the air. Bananas and oranges were available. Apple slices as well.

It’s a hospital cafeteria, so that’s about what you can expect. Staffing struggles have led to the grill never being open but they occasionally have the pizza station open. They’ve been having sushi every Wednesday, which is nice.
Having worked here, I can say the food is safe to eat and great care is taken to ensure that. The prices are little much, imo.

The food in this hospital cafeteria was absolutely horrible. Even the food that was supposed to be healthy carrots that were white celery that had turned white. It was just absolutely horrible.

Cheeseburger was good. The condiment bar was fun and fresh. We were told that the grill had been closed for quite a while due to staffing and equipment issues, but we were lucky to be there on the right day!

Was there while breakfast was being served. Heartland Cafe has always had a great breakfast. Selections are varied and yummy; the dark roasts of coffee taste great. Employee’s are friendly and courteous, dining area always clean.

I always use the microwaves here to heat up the good food I bring my wife so she doesn’t have to eat here. They’re pretty nice microwaves. Sometimes she gets the salad and her co-workers scoff at the fact that she can afford to put nuts on her salad because she makes more than them.
They used to have a ramen shop here that misspelled basic Japanese ramen terms. They’ve recently been replaced, thankfully. My gaijin foodie elitism stemming from two decades old four years of high school honors Japanese couldn’t handle it much longer.

Very tasty, & good portions for the $’s. Nice to not have to drive somewhere to get something to eat when you don’t want to leave the hospital or your loved one patient!

Food was mediocre. Most of the options in the food court (deli, pizza, grill, bakery, etc.) were either closed or empty. Only options were salad bar or comfort food. Not even anything in the refrigerators.

Very good food. Quite a bit is freshly prepared while you wait. Certainly a vast improvement over the typical hospital fare!
