This place is built different. They always have everything you need. The service is beyond awesome; the staff is consistently attentive and friendly, treating you like family. The food is straight-up GREAT… fresh ingredients and perfect preparation every time.
Forget the generic stuff.. these guys make their own signature sauces, and they are fire, elevating every roll to a whole new level of flavor. You have to try them!

Had a stopover in JFK and was in the mood for kosher sushi, so I came to That Sushi Spot — and I’m so glad I did. Kenny took care of me and the service was unbelievable. He made sure everything was exactly the way I like it.
The tuna sashimi was honestly the freshest I’ve ever had. Melt-in-your-mouth quality. You can tell they take their sushi seriously.
If you’re anywhere near the area, especially coming from the airport, this place is 100% worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back!

This sushi spot exceeded all expectations. The platter was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. Every roll was delicious—from the tuna and salmon to the mango-topped rolls and tamago. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite.
What makes it even better is that it’s kosher, which is such a huge plus. Perfect balance of flavors, generous portions, and everything was fresh and satisfying.
Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great sushi. I will definitely be coming back!

This sushi spot is fantastic! The food is always fresh and delicious, and my daughter absolutely loves the sushi here. The manager is very friendly and always goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. Great service and great atmosphere — definitely one of our favorite places!

So I just went to this new sushi place down the block from my job and I must say this is the worst service I’ve ever received in my life. I waited 30 minutes for three rolls and I’m sorry but that is unacceptable. I don’t know what world people live in that people think a person has 30 minutes to wait for three rolls of sushi. Honestly, I expected more from this place and the person behind the counter. Whoever he was should learn how to do his job better I’m giving this place a one star for the horrible service. I still didn’t even try the food yet, but I’m scared to see what it tastes like for me having to wait 30 minutes for three rolls.

we had just gotten home from a long day and was craving sushi and this was the only place open in the area. delivery apps have them listed as closed on saturdays, google has them listed as closing at 11:30, and their website has them closing at midnight on Saturdays. We took a chance and ordered online pickup around 11pm. the system said the order would be ready around 11:20. when we arrived, the person who “greeted” us asked for my name. instead of saying “what’s the last name on the order” he said “_____ WHAT.”. he said “well that name isn’t here” and come to realize they were still packing our order, which we kindly waited for. The girl behind the counter was so kind enough to hand the bag to us (which i didn’t expect at this point). If my order was an inconvenience i wish they would’ve cancelled the order or notified me it couldn’t be done. I also had no idea if they were about to close or not, but there were plenty of orders waiting to be picked up. It’s a shame the service was so bad.

This is definitely my new favorite sushi spot. The person behind the counter is super friendly. After ordering I sat down expecting to wait a bit. less than 5 minutes later my sushi came out. Oh the sushi. I ordered the salmon lovers roll and they used a single piece of salmon to cover the roll. It looked amazing. And the taste. The rice was perfectly seasoned so I can taste the filling which were amazing. I attached pics so you can see how amazing it was. 11/10 would highly recommend .
